Enjoy the hustle with out the hassle - your own private space near one of the more active boat ramps in Port O'Connor! Small but functional, the best thing about this fishing cabin is the location. The House above is NOT CONNECTED -- only built above and around the Original Home. Close to the Intracoastal Waterway, Fishing Center and Boat Launch.
Owner will provide parking permit for Fishing center, plus there's plenty of parking behind the house for a couple of trucks and boat trailers.
Sit on the porch and watch all the activity at the Fishing Center. Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets over the ICW. Just a good ol' place to call you...Read more

We had a great time in Port O'Connor. My husband and 2 grandchildren, ages 10 & 13. Very laid back and relaxing. Accomodations were just what we needed. Kinda risky, sight unseen. My only critism would be the stains on the kitchen floor. Needs replacing. Size was perfect, plenty of towels for all and with the rollaway bed and futon could easily accomodate extra people if needed. If you were there to fish, location would be perfect. We made the long drive to Corpus to sight see, but it is quite a drive. Tigrett and Michelle (owner) very helpful.

Tigrett representatives we very courteous and helpful. The Tennison house is old but clean, very convenient to the boat launch at the Fish Center. We lost a wallet with a large amount of cash in it. The folks at the Fish Center found it and returned it. Helps renew our hope that honest people can still be found. The Tennison house will be the place we stay on our next trip, and we hope that that will be soon. Thanks again for making our stay enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the stay, everything was clean and neat. View was awesome from the porch and the shade was great below. Parking was plentiful. I would definetly consider staying again on my next trip.

Stayed two nights here and have no complaints. Nice for 2 people, may be cramped for a big family. Right next to the fishing center launch ramps.

Right in the middle of everything. Great parking. Great owners and very friendly. Small, outdated, but clean. Much better than staying at a motel!!!

This place is pretty filthy, very old, dust everywhere especially behind the beds, some of the kitchenware was not cleaned and there were crumbs and god-knows-what on the papasan chair that I wanted to sit on. The beds? Forget it!. Mine was like sleeping in a U, because that's the shape it took, the mattress was so flimsy. Really, this place doesn't look like it has had one thing changed since the 1950's. On the other hand, there were plenty of towels and sheets, and the shower was pretty good. The outside deck is nice, as well. But I will never stay there again.
