Florida Panhandle, known as The Forgotten Coast,in Gulf County is a gorgeous area called Cape San Blas that is 50% occupied by the St. Joe Peninsula State Park. The beach was rated the #1 in the U.S. by Dr. Beach in 2002.. The area features pristine beaches and low density population featuring no houses or commercial buildings taller than 3 stories. No high rises on the beach!! Wildlife is abundant with dolphins frolicking in the surf, eagles soaring above, sea turtles nesting in the sand, and some of the best fishing you will find anywhere in the U.S. Fresh shrimp, oysters and crab are a daily staple. Catch your own scallops in the St. Joe Bay. Go deep sea fishing for Grouper, Red Snapper, Trout and Redfish. Catch huge game fish in the shallows: Tarpon, Triple Tails and even sharks.
Rent a fishing boat at the Port St. Joe Harbor, a pontoon party boat and even a Kayak. Rent a bike to take out on the new bike bath to the State Park or ride horses on the beach.
Cape San Blas beaches are one of the few "Pet Friendly" beaches in the U.S, with miles and miles of unspoiled beach for your pet to go wild. Bonfires are allowed on the beach and you can even get a permit to ride your vehicle or golf cart on the beach.
Two Palms sits right smack dab on the Gulf of Mexico, Your children can hear you from the deck as they swim in warm gulf water. There are no other houses between the Gulf and the road, and thousands of acres of wildlife preserve on the other side of the beach. There is also 2 vacant lots just east of Two Palms which allow for gorgeous unobstructed panoramic views of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico.
Two Palms has a Hotub on the deck for soaking and relaxing while watching the beautiful sunsets and gazing at the billions of Stars.
This area is extremely remote and private. A perfect getaway to just relax and chill with the family.
Located 1 hour east of Panama City and 1.5 hours South and West of Tallahassee. Apalachicola and St. George Island are 15-20 minutes to the east.

  Two Palms was exactly the vacation rental property my family and I needed. The house was comfortable, well stocked and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the master bedroom which gave us the ability to wake up to beautiful oceanfront views. Mornings became my favorite part of the day. My husband and I would greet the day sitting outside on the wooden deck and silently drinking our coffee. The ocean breeze, the swaying of the palm trees and the calming views of the ocean was exactly the vacation we wanted. The beach for the most part was isolated and on most mornings we could see pelicans catching their morning meal and dolphins casually swimming by. Our daily morning walks with our dogs Pepper and Candy prepared us for the family breakfast and the rest of what I knew would be a relaxing day. The owners as well as Donna were very accommodating to our needs needless to say we plan to go back in the near future. The one thing I would change would be the name of the property instead of Two Palms to The Ocean Paradise.
