The condo was not as clean/sharp looking as it was last summer when we stayed. The paint condition was questionable, at best. Paint instairwell was marked up. The back upstairs bathroom tub drained real slow, causing taking showers in it to be a problem. Called the desk and they took care of it.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Cottages and we would definitely return in the future. Our unit was spotless upon arrival, decorated beautifully and had all the conveniences of home. Our sons enjoyed the pool and we were close to the beach. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and I used the washer/dryer many times during our stay. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here and would recommend it to others. My only criticism is that we were switched into another unit only 48 hours before we arrived and I was disappointed that we were not able to stay in the unit we had chosen online. It should be stated on the website in a very clear manner that you are not guaranteed a unit when you make your reservation. Our disappointment could have been avoided if I had known this information beforehand.

We had a great stay for 3 nights.
A few comments:
The couches in B22 are a good quality.
It was a shame to see how dirty the covers were.My wife couldn't stand it so she took them off and washed them.They look new now.
Pot holders and hand towels in the half bath would be a plus.Everthing else was great

Our stay @ Barefoot Cottage #22 exceeded my expectations. The cottage was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The grounds were well maintained, my kids loved the pool and playground. Barefoot cottages are a great value and the perfect location for a scalloping vacation in Port St. Joe. I can't say enough good things about our stay, we will definitely be back!

I enjoyed the cottage, just more cookware was needed it was very limited in B22,1 very large skillett, 1 very small pot and two very large pots, i would say that needs updating along with your fitness room, it was very limited. Also more family activities should be offered.

We planned a spur of the moment weekend fishing trip to Port St. Joe. On the way down I searched the internet for a place to rent and found BareFoot Cottages. They were able to accomodate a same day rental and I could not have been more pleased with the property. Well kept, nicely decorated, all furnishings availible except hair dryer. Very clean and quaint well priced for the loacation and quality. We'll be staying with Barefoot cottages in the future.

Barefoot Cottages is a wonderful place to stay. We always enjoy our time together at Barefoot Cottages. B-22 needs a better can opener! Lol ...but other than that we couldn't ask for anything more.

Very clean place. Beautifully decorated. I would recommend leaving paper towels and cleaning supplies in the condo...easier to clean and wipe down counter tops etc. with.

The cottage was real nice and so was the the whole area. The thing that got us from the beginning was we didn't have the key code to get in the cottage. You would have thought someone would have sent that with our confirmation email. If not with that email then at some other time. So we were a bit miffed at 11:00 p.m. not to be able to get in our cottage. The rest are kinda incidental things like no lamps in the den (relied on overhead lights-yuck) and no soap provided in the bathrooms. So if we come back we'll know what to expect and will prepare.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Cottages. We had everything we needed (except for cables for the DVD players - but that got taken care of), and loved our location next to the pool. The cottage was very clean and comfortable - I definitely will recommend it to others in the future!

Beautiful cottage, nice pool, lovely surroundings...only downside was that wifi went down on Tuesday and staff did not seem to understand how to get it back up (and lacked a sense of urgency to do so). All in all, though, an experience we would highly recommend.

The area was very family friendly and we loved having the pool literally out our front door. We knew that we were withing driving distance to the beach but that was fine...we ended up at 4 different beaches that we would never have found otherwise. We were able to snorkel in the bay, scallop and fish at another bay, drive to mexico beach to catch some waves and go to the state park for a little bit of if all. The homes were well supplied and decorated and there was plenty of room for us all. The pool could have been cooled the water was like getting into a bath tub...not very refreshing on a hot august day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The accomodations were wonderful and the home was very clean. Sleeping accomodaitons were comfortable and restfull. I especially liked the fact that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Our grandchildren loved the swimming pool. Port St. Joe is now our favorite spot in Florida. It was slow paced and relaxing. The service and staff are very helpful. My husband enjoyed fishing and the beaches were wonderful. I would definitely return to this location again.

Everything was great the employees were super nice. My only complaint is that the website has a Destin address and that there was no cleaning/mopping supplies. There was a mop and broom and vacuum, but no cleaning solutions. Other than those two things it was a wonderfull experience and I am planning on going back next year and doing it all over again.. Thanks so much for everything.

Barefoot Cotttages was everything we had hoped for in a pleasure-filled vacation "home". It was as if we were part of a great neighborhood! Our home was 20 paces from the pool as if it was in our backyard and we met up with the other super neighbors(renters who were staying)!
Our son is Autistic. This was the best vacation he has ever had--a perfect blend of comfort, calm and fun!
I have 10 sisters and 3 brothers. I have called them ALL to say let's ALL book together next year! We can hardly wait!! -

Wonderful Natural Landscaping.I could live here!We really enjoyed the area.The downtown Port St. Joe Area is truly a great place to spend a day.The shops were Unique,all of the owners operators of the shops were were very nice and we were treated as returning customers.We really enjoyed the Windmark Development,The Beach Area,Walking Trails,Restaurants and Speciality Shops were Outstanding.We will surely return A.S.A.P.!

A perfect and seamless vacation from check-in to check-out. The unit was extremely comfortable and very well appointed with every convenience. Pool, hot-tub, fitness center and wi-fi completed the package for our whole family along with the beautiful beaches close by!

We rented cottage #B22 and had a wonderful weeks vacation with our five daughters. This cottage is beautifully decorated and the owners have stocked it to have everything you need to enjoy your time there. The pool is right out your front door and the beach is just a short drive. I can' rave enough about this property we truly enjoyed the area and will return in the future.

I was looking for a cottage on VRBO, I called one rental complex and they referred me to this one. And I am so glad I followed through and called.
It was more than I expected. It was quiet yet perfectly situated. I was vacationing with my two daughters for a girls weekend. We loved the house, the rooms, the decor. The little town of Port St Joe was perfect. We took a drive to Panama City and day tripped there. I would highly recommend these accomodations again and will probably be back.
