Enjoy a trip to Port St. Joe, Florida and stay with us at Barefoot Cottages #B16 . This two bedroom vacation cottage is conveniently located next to the pool and hot tub, and the fitness room too! The Barefoot Cottages are a planned coastal village just west of Port St. Joe on Highway 98 bordering WindMark Beach. The kids will love the two playgrounds that are nestled in the nature/natural areas with numerous wood foot bridges and sidewalks. Bad news: Downstairs toilet needed service upon arrival. Pool was closed until further notice(not mentioned when reservation was made). Toilet and pool repaired 2nd day. No bicycles for use as promised in the ad. Bed in first bedroom horribly noisy. It moaned and groaned at each move. The rental price was decent, but the cleaning fee was too much. No beach within walking distance.
Good news: It was quiet, neat, and appeared to be very well managed. Despite the bad news, we enjoyed our stay. -

We returned to Barefoot cottage B16 for the 3rd year to escape our Canadian winter For Feb & March.
The house reqired some refurbishing we have been assured this will taken care of before we return next year.
The Staff Wendy, Celest & Tim are alway's friendly and address any concernes we have.
Over the years we have made many friend's ,lookong forward to seeing them next year (Not the Bear's) -

Cottage was very nice, clean and roomy. I loved the location of this cottage... right next to the pool.

The rooms were nice, and the location in the pool area was convient. For our group a three bedroom would have made it much better. Besides issues with a bathroom seat and some small cleaning issues the rooms overall were fine. The issues were with resevations and a lot of confushion on that end.They keep mixing the two rooms up and charged my debt card twice..and it took over a week to get them to credit my card..whcih lent itself to overdraft charges from my bank.

Our stay was fantastic! The cottage was very clean, spacey, and extremely sheik. My kids had a blast in the hot tub and pool, which was also kept up very nicely.

We really enjoyed the cottage. It was very clean and roomy. The pool and hot tub were great. I loved that it was near the beach, and that it had amenities and even free bicycles to use. I would definitely go back and stay again someday. It was very quiet and relaxing.

We have wanted to stay in the cottages since they were built and were never allowed to till this time. We were totally happy with the B-16 as soon as we opened the door. It was beautifully and comfortably decorated. And most importantly, CLEAN!! The bef in the Master was quite noisy to sleep on but not too soft or too hard.
We have stayed at a number of different places in Port St Joe and Mexico Beach but none so nice as B-16. We hope to be able to stay there again. Our daughter lives in Wewa and that is why we come down to visit.

Very nice cottage.Adequately furnished,clean and comfortable.We would stay there again.
The only negative was that the bed in the bedroom with the balcony is too soft.I have back issues and prefer a firm mattress.
We also could have used a few extra towels.
We enjoyed our stay.The location was very good.

When I saw the ad on the Internet, I thought this was the model home and our rental would not be nearly this nice. We were very surprised to discover that the pics online were pics of the actual rental. We plan to stay here often as the years go by. The value was perfect. Very clean. Great location. Don't miss this one!
