Left on 09/04/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We really enjoyed our little “Hideaway” stay. In fact, this unit was very spacious with a separate bedroom, large kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave and double sink. The views were incredible from the kitchen window and living room. An added bonus was a little sitting area right outside the front door that also had a lovely view. This place is also walking distance to the downtown area and ferry docks. It really is a great deal compared to a small motel room. The only drawback to this place is that the walls are paper thin, so if someone is in the unit next door, you can hear walking, showering and even conversations if you are near the adjoining wall. Our first night we had the bungalow to ourselves, but the following two nights, it was a bit noisy. I’ve had worse problems at nice hotels, so it would not prevent me from staying here again.
By the way, if you are looking for a nice restaurant in Port Townsend, Castle Key Seafood and Steak restaurant was fantastic……..some of the best food we ever had. It’s in the Manresa Castle Hotel.
