I knew it would be great, but it was better than great. You have you're own coral reefs to dive or snorkel, and what we called "the biggest swimming pool in the world" out the back door. It is a bargain at this price. The kitchen, furnishings, grounds, development and attention from Hana are all 5 star.
She even gave us a great deal on renting a better vehicle than we could have gotten from rental places in town with total convenience!
It's luxurious and comfortable at the same time. -

We travel to Vanuatu at least once a year and we have now found the perfect accommodation.
Five minutes from town but we seemed to be in our own little paradise.
Clear crystal water at our door step, private plunge pool, pentanque on the beach, kayaking,together with accommodation that far exceeded our expectations made our stay relaxing, indulgent and fun.
Hana went out of her way to ensure that all our needs were catered for. Nothing was a problem including our request for creme brules on our last night in town. Anyone travelling to Vanuatu looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday should take the opportunity to experience this unique property - its in a class of its own. -

We stayed at Grand Villa for 8 days in March and we found the house absolutely beautiful ...modern and very clean with the great advantage of a private pool right on the beach.
The owner could not have been more helpful and generous.
On the way to the airport we left our camera in the car and it was forwarded to us in australia which was extremely appreciated.
Although we had not visited Vanuatu for 33 years, it was every bit as lovely as we remembered.
For anyone seeking a relaxing break one could not surpass a stay Grand Villa. -

We were fortunate to spend a week back in September in Grand Villa. My partner and I were coming from australia and never been to Vanuatu so we didn't know what to expect. We like the finer things in life and privacy on our holiday. We were totally blown away at the high standard of the accommodation. The owner has obviously the comfort of her guests in mind and it shows in every detail. We entered the large estate and were greeted by the owner Hana and she handed us the keys with the remotes for the electric gates, one for the property and other for Dream Cove . The owners live right next door, but with the tropical vegetation in between we felt totally private. Matter of fact we felt very private and happy not have to share any common areas like other multi Villa accommodation with communal tables, we were just left alone, perfect. The setting is gorgeous, perched high above the beach, with the infinity pool meeting the blue horizon all under shade of the tree canopies and with a few steps to the beach below. We sat on our terrace and admired this exquisite view. So quiet! The large deck below on the beach is set up with outdoor furniture, so sometimes we had a long and lazy lunch there and spent the day sun baking, kayaking and swimming. The beach was very good, part coral and sand with shallow easy access to the water. Right next door also there is a natural blue hole with amazing snorkeling. We took out also the Lagoon hopper, a funny vessel bit like a catamaran with a motor, but made that mistake of not taking the spare petrol can with us! We ended up rowing back to shore which was great exercise but not fun at all on holiday! The plunge pool was amazing too; we ended up sipping our cool drinks in the evening looking the sea vista and cruise ships passing by. At night we dropped down the roller shutters on the terrace and it felt really safe and secure. The beds were super comfy and the owner has even installed wardrobe heaters to keep the linen and our clothes dry in the tropical humid weather.
The area of Dream Cove is very special. It’s very close to the town but hidden behind a hill so you have a feeling like you are on Castaway Island, but only 5 minutes by car to the supermarket. When we were there a new supermarket had just opened called Leader Price. A good addition to the local and quite well stocked supermarket au Bon Marche. We found the frozen Pain au chocolat (croissant with chocolate) just so delicious we baked it every day for breakfast...Yum, real treat especially with a cup of Nespresso and ripe pawpaw with lime. The frozen pizzas were also handy when we didn't want to go out at night which was quite often, as we were just so comfy in our Villa. Also the butcher there is very good, we bought a whole veal fillet for a bargain and marinated it in lemon, garlic olive oil... and then cooked it on our Weber Q on the terrace… bliss... The owner had stocked up the pantry all with the necessaries like salt, sugar, oil, rice and lots of sauces, so it was easy to whip up any quick meal. We just felt so comfortable it was hard to leave. Must also mention the two island dogs Rusty and Poppy both island rescued dogs, both smart and inquisitive who provided us with entertainment from time to time. Especially Rusty he was always ready for a play. We loved them, but we are dog lovers having left ours behind. We really miss the place and I have recommended it to all our friends so they are now planning a holiday in Vanuatu. The owners deserve high accolades for what the best most relaxing and luxurious stay I have had anywhere in the Pacific. -

Close to Port Vila but feels miles away from it all, very relaxing, fabulous comfortable house with all the amenities you need for a pampered holiday: pool, beach, snorkelling, views, wifi, tv/DVD/music, well equipped kitchen and outdoor area. Many more facilities. The house has everything and is very comfortable and clean; and anything we needed, Hana the owner was very happy to assist with. Having a car is best as arranging a driver was tricky with availability and the gated community and we wanted mobility. Highly recommend this over anything comparable as I looked at it all!

From the moment we touched down in Port Villa we were spoiled by our host who looked after absolutely everything. The villa was stunningly presented and better than expected - photos do not do this place justice, you have to see it to believe it.
The surrounding property is immaculately maintained and is extremely private and secure. It's the perfect retreat for the couple who wants that little bit of luxury away from the hustle of conventional resorts - from the private pool and private beach you don't need to leave this little slice of heaven. -

Simply the most beautiful accomodation with every requirement catered for .We had the most relaxing and peaceful holiday with your very own pool and the beach right there.The house is immaculate and private with first class ammenities..I cant recommend it highly enough ..was just brilliant.
