      Great House

Left on 10/13/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We really enjoyed our stay in this vacation home. Shari was great to work with. Check-in/out was so easy. The house was very clean and well-equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

      The best

Left on 10/13/2011 for a stay in October 2011

We had a lovely time staying at Shari's beautiful bungalow and would hope to return on another visit to Portland. It is really convenient for the bus to go into town and we enjoyed a full day at Powell's bookshop and, on another day, drove to see the Spruce Goose.

We have already recommended the bungalow to our friends.

      Enjoyable

Left on 09/14/2011 for a stay in September 2011

My husband and I rented the bungalow while visiting our son in Portland. It was clean, comfortable and in a great area. Close to many coffee shops, brew pubs and great restaurants. Shari was friendly and very easy to work with. We will definately be staying here again when we travel to Oregon

      Nice house

Left on 09/06/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We were coming into town over Labor Day weekend for a friend's wedding and were looking for a non-hotel place to stay. Shari was very helpful on top of being a pleasant, friendly person. The house was fully furnished with a modern kitchen and was nearby plenty of things to do and see. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to visit.

      Cute bungalow with great service!

Left on 09/06/2011 for a stay in August 2011

We booked this cute house last minute when our other accomodations fell through. We were just happy to find a house in august in Portland so close to our trip. It ended up being a perfect vacation home.

We were returning to Portland for a week visit after moving to TX in March. We had not spent much time in this neighborhood before and it was fun to spend time in a new part of town. The location is fantastic and within walking distance to many coffeeshops, restaurants, grocery stores, and pubs. Plenty of parks close by too, for the kiddos.

The owner lives right around the corner and responded to the few needs we had immediately. She even brought over a fan since the temperatures were the hottest of the year. No a/C but it stayed reasonably cool inside with the windows open. She checked in every few days to make sure everything was going well, which was appreciated. Check in/out was a breeze.

The front porch is small but cute. We spent quite a bit of time out there when the kids were napping or sleeping. Plenty of games and books. A small TV we never used. One of the few negatives was the seating in the living room - no couch. But we didn't spend much time sitting around, so it was not a big deal.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in this cute little bungalow. The location is great. The service is excellent. The price cannot be beat.

      Highly Recommended!!!

Left on 08/11/2011 for a stay in July 2011

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Such a quiet, warm, cozy home to get away for a short vacation. We highly recommend this rental home if you're in Oregon. It's in the perfect location for our morning stroll to get the famous Stumptown Coffee. In the afternoon we went for a short hike around Mt Tabor. We had a wonderful stay and wish it could have been longer. We definitely plan on coming back to stay again and again and will recommend this place to everyone that we know. We now consider this place "our home away from home."
