      Wonderful Home

Left on 05/29/2012 for a stay in April 2012

This home is a true home away from home from the minute we walked in until we left. The house is stocked way beyond any I have rented from other owners. Our family loved the hot tub and the game room! I loved the master bedroom upstairs. This home is located in a great area. We found some great local restaurants for dinner. Lisa, the owner, is great to work with, so willing to accomodate above and beyond what is expected. We can hardly wait to go back!

      You Won't Be Disappointed!

Left on 05/08/2012 for a stay in May 2012

This 1908 home is a combination of beautiful antiques with the luxury of a modern kitchen, comfortable beds, and all the little details that you might need for your home-away-from home. The family friendly basement is full of board games, pool table, air hockey, bumper pool, TV with lots of video choices and arcade games (with Pacman etc.). We gathered four generations to celebrate my husband's graduation from Western Seminary. The house had all the baby gear we needed so we didn't have to bring a thing for our granddaughter except diapers! The neighborhood is also very friendly with the small town atmosphere including a park, library, consignment store with children's clothes and a marvelous coffee shop (Springer Hill sp?) with unique vertical gardens indoors & outdoors.
Lisa is marvelous to work with and she pays attention to the details, so if you forget something - not to worry - she probably has it in the house somewhere! A wonderful time was had by all.

      Wonderful Home away from Home

Left on 03/07/2012 for a stay in February 2012

We had a group of six that stayed at the home for eight nights. We meet in Portland semi-annually to attend classes at George Fox Evangelical Seminary, visiting from all over the country. We really wanted to find a home away from home that would allow us to hang together, relax and yet be a central hub for our travels in Portland during the week. We were not disappointed. The home was large and accommodating, with a wonderful kitchen, comfortable rooms/beds, and all the amenities we could need. The location is fabulous - we found easy access to our campus in Tigard and also quick access to downtown. Lisa was very accommodating and worked hard to secure the booking and prepare everything for our stay.

Made our trip a roaring sucess!

Left on 02/15/2012 for a stay in February 2012

We traveled with several of our family member (12 in total) to Portland. There was plenty of space for our large group including the kids who welcomed the games, tv, toys, etc. The house was stocked with just about everything you could need (the kitchen may be better stocked than my own kitchen). Lisa was super accomodating and lovely to work with. Highly reccomended!

Comfy, charming, fully stocked, welcoming home!

Left on 02/12/2012 for a stay in February 2012

We definitely enjoyed our stay in the 1908 home! We have 3 kids and stayed there with my parents, brother, and another brother and his wife and children. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, play, make yummy food and relax. The amenities were incredible. We lacked for nothing. We would absolutely stay there again and have wonderful memories from our previous experience.

      Family Time

Left on 02/10/2012 for a stay in February 2011

Four generations of our family stayed in "The 1908 House" for a long weekend and we had a wonderful time. When our grandchildren (7 and 3) saw the game room in the basement they were estatic...as were our 30+-year-old children. Competition between the game-players was rampant, and even our 3-year-old granddaughter had fun playing air hockey, My husband's 88-year-old mother had a little trouble navagating the steps, but with help she was right there with us wherever we went and enjoyed every minute of the weekend. The house is very well stocked with just about everything you could want, including equipment for babies and small children. The kitchen had not only the equipment we needed but also staples, which allowed us to cook all of our meals at home, so we were able to relax and enjoy each other for the entire weekend. This house allowed our family to be together yet provided everyone their own space; it was a little slice of heaven on earth. Thank you, Lisa. It was a joy working with you to make this weekend a reality.

      Thanks so much
