Ranch style home in SE Portland just South of Mt. Tabor. Quiet tree lined street with plenty of parking.
There are 3 large bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom with a porcelain tub and shower.
The largest of the 3 bedrooms has a Queen sized bed with a very comfortable pillow topped mattress.
The other 2 bedrooms have full sized beds with pillow top mattresses.
Each bedroom has a desk and office chair, super high speed (30mbps) internet/wifi, and a walk-in closet.
There is a full service kitchen with all the amenities, including microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, blender, juicer.

My husband and I have been to Portland to visit our son a few times over the years. We usually stay at a downtown hotel but decided to try renting a house this time. I am very glad that we did. Enjoyed breakfasting on the sunny and private backyard deck, living in a real house in a real neigborhood snd checking out lots of interesting books. John is a gracious and generous host.

On a sight seeing trip to the Pacific Northwest, I stayed at the home of John Johnson in SE Portland. The main floor has hardwood floors, a fireplace, and a very serviceable kitchen. There is a large deck in the backyard where travelers gathered for a drink and story swapping at the end of a busy day. John was a welcoming font of cultural and arts oriented knowledge of the Portland scene. His cozy, tree surrounded home is within walking distance of Mt. Tabor, providing hiking and biking opportunities with beautiful vistas at the top. Ten minutes from the artsy Hawthorne section and 3 minutes from the famous Stumptown coffee shop, John's house is also a simple 15 minute drive to the historic and hip downtown. This was a cozy and economical way for me to explore the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. St.Helens, and Mt. Hood, as well as to experience the urban flavor of a great Oregon city.
