NORTH CANTONWe felt very "at home" in this home away from home.

My husband, 8 yr old granddaughter, and myself stayed a week at this lovely home located just off Division Street in SE Portland. We really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The house has been renovated with a wonderful kitchen that has plenty of space to work in and all the conveniences. The house had a small living room, huge dining room, small eat-in sun porch, 2 large bedrooms with plenty of closet and drawer space. It only had one bathroom but it was large and had also been remodeled. Many convenient items such as a hairdryer, mirror, hair and soap products, kleenex, huge fluffy towels, etc. The best thing was it was spotless!! There was also a washer and dryer in the dry, sunny basement. When we suggested a clothes hanging rack would be nice, it was provided by the owner almost immediately. The outside was fantastic also. A picnic table and chairs for 6 were located outside on a private patio, along with an electric grill. The beds were made up with down bedding, but other bedding was provided if you were allergic to the down. Both beds were very comfortable. The lot was well taken care of, and we were allowed to pick the fresh strawberries that were growing when we were there. They were delicious! The private driveway provided parking for at least 2 cars. The best thing we liked was the cleanliness of the place. The least was probably having many apartments located around us, although we didn't have any trouble at all.

This place is unbelievably nice and comfortable. It exceeded all our expectations. I wished I owned as nice a house as this. We particularly enjoyed the gas fire place insert. The bed was a mile high in down under and over, quite luxurious. The neighborhood is interesting with lots of little stores and restaurants. I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else the next time we visit Portland. Thank you innkeepers ann and Jason.

We stayed here for a few days in the fall of 2012 when we were visiting our son. We enjoyed our stay at the Windsor Court Cottage. It is very comfortable and well-equipped and in a very nice and quiet neighborhood setting.
We don't get to visit Portland very often, but when we do we will definitely hope that this cottage is available.
