This beautiful apartment is at Rua do Almada in the center of Oporto downtown and very closer to Rua de Santa Catarina.

The apartment is very closer to the subway (Bolhão station), Majestic (historical coffee), Bolhão Market, shops and a lot of services. The apartment is also closer to the old city center (Ribeira) and Avenida dos Aliados.

This apartment is on the 3rd floor (no elevator!) that has been renovated to include:

It is a wonderful place to discover, and the perfect start point to explore the north of Portugal. It is a must for sightseeing, perfect for shopping (textiles, shoes and all kind of goods) and charming for nightlife.

This apartment is located closer to Rua de Santa Catarina. This street is the most commercial artery of Oporto downtown. A great portion of Rua Santa Catarina is now forbidden to traffic and reserved only for pedestrians. Whoever enters the Rua de Santa Catarina coming from Batalha Square, will find two Art Nouveau facades belonging to the Bookstore Latina, and to the former Jewellery Reis & Filhos.

Further ahead, at the intersection with Rua de Passos Manuel, are the majestic galleries Palladium. This architect project from Marques da Silva, was built in 1914 for Armazéns Nascimento. Today it houses several commercial establishments like Fnac and C & A.

Founded in 1921, and once a meeting point of Oporto burguesy, Cafe Magestic is now recognized as "public interest", being one of the main tourist street coffees. Located very close to another historic property, you can find the Tea Lounge Empire. You can also go to Via Catarina shopping that retains the facade of the former headquarters of the Oporto newspaper O Primeiro de Janeiro.
