Two bedroom apartment in small complex with pool.
First floor apartment of 95m2 that can accommodate 4 to 6 people. It features two air conditioned bedrooms with double beds, living room with a dining table and an extra single bed and separate fully equipped kitchen (big refrigerator, cooker, kettle, toaster,cooking utensils and cutlery) .The bathroom has a bathtub and a washing machine. All the windows have mosquito nets and are double glazed.The balcony running right round the apartment offers a magnificent view of the sea, the pool and the gardens of the estate.It is ideal for families as well as for couples.

The peninsula of Sithonia, the second ‘leg’ as locals call it, but also the entire Halkidiki area, is famous for its excellent golden beaches and stunning water quality. Respect to the environment is confirmed with standards established by the EU: for 2012, 30 beaches were certified with a blue flag , with 10 of them being located in the Municipality of Sithonia. Many of these beaches are close to the Resort, making it the ideal starting point for your excursions.
Porto Koufo is a calm and serene fishermen village with an amazing sandy golden beach.It is famous for its traditional fish tavernas and also for the crystal clear waters.
Porto Koufo is the biggest (in depth) natural port in Greece.It was mentioned by ancient historian Thukydides as 'kofos Limin'.Persian emperor Xerxes used it as a shelter for his fleet and during World War II it was a 'hiding place' for U boats because they were totally protected by the winds and had direct access to the Aegean Sea.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Porto Koufo resort. It is run by the excellent hosts Irene and Costas, who truly make an effort to make your vacation an unforgettable experience. The apartment was clean, spacious and has a very nice view on the sea and beach from both bedroom and living room - we stayed in "Camelia" but the others seem just as good. The overall atmosphere in the resort is very relaxing with a pool plus bar, lounge chairs and sofas to hang out whenever you like.
We traveled with a family with three young children who enjoyed everything: the pool, the grounds with play-structure, palm trees, a grassy field and fruit trees. They were also lucky to be able to play with the six(!) puppies last week.
Our hosts were not only very attentive but they are also very warm and caring people, so we'll stop here...hope you will enjoy this place as much as we did. Thanks! -

I really enjoyed the hospitality, that actually made me feel almost like living in my own home. The place was wonderful, absolutely clean and with an astonishing view to the small gulf of Porto Koufo.
Everything worked just perfect and the owners of the Camelia apartment were always keen to satisfy any request. -

It's not a hotel. It's not a guest house. It is the best of both. You may think it's a hotel because the apartments are spacious and nice decorated but in the same time, you have the warmth and care of the owners, that you can't find in big hotels.
The pool (with sun beds under olive trees) is surrounded by a superb garden with palm trees and an well maintained lawn - a paradise for children. As for adults, what can I say. We were happy there...Response from Irene Kat - 03/13/2013

I have been to Porto Koufo Resort, many times in different seasons of the year and let me tell you, I had the best time of my life and I'm pretty sure my friends absolutely agree with that! Before we get there, I wasn't so sure about me bringing Celia, our dog, with me. It turned out a great decision, since she was running happy every day in that green and flowery space of Porto Koufo Resort!
While me and my friends were enjoying the marvelous facilities and landscape of Chalkidiki, the owners of the resort, Reni and Costas, where making sure that everything we needed, was hapily provided to us.
And If you are having any doubts about my review, let me tell you that we are planning a dream wedding this summer over there and we are sure nothing can go wrong! <3Response from Irene Kat - 03/13/2013
