This bright and cheerful apartment is located in the Li Parlati District, one of the eldest parts of Positano. Going down 50 steps the centre of the town begins. It will take you about 10 minutes on foot to reach the beach or you can use the frequent public transport. The bus stop is a few steps from the apartment. All necessary services are in the neighbourhood. Le Percochelle is composed of two bedrooms, one double and one twin, two bathrooms with hair dryer, one boasting a Jacuzzi tub, the second one with shower, a kitchen with washing machine, microwave oven, dish washing machine, electric oven, gas cooker and ironing facilities. Location is way too high up. The preview to this property only states "steps to beach / steps to center of town" It was 480 actual steps. We would not have chosen this property if that was known as one person in my group has a physical disability. We also had to ask them to leave us with toliet paper as one roll per bathroom for 3 women for one whole week is not enough. We shouldn't have to even ask for that!! Sitting out on the balcony would of been nicer if we didn't have to deal with the person from the above balcony smoking and tapping their cigerate ash!! Other than that the place was nice and clean

Sorry for the bad education of the tenant in the other apartment, beyond our control. Being a selfcatering apartment it may happen that the toilet paper left by the owner is not sufficient. The preview said 50 steps to the centre, the inhabitants consider this spot centre, the pedestrian area of the town is further away. In order to avoid all steps one can take the bus which stops nearby.

Situated about 10-15 minutes walk from the centre and the beach. No problem to walk down, but to hot in august to walk back up the road. However, the local bus took us up and stopped 1 minute from the door. Nice and clean, godd for five people, better for four (one of our teenagers slept on the sofa in the living room). But we enjoyed the place very much and stayed for 6 nights. Our rental car was parked "down-town" in one of the guarded parking lots.
The reason for one star only for "ease of check-in" was because the people who left the day we arrived had messed the place up more than normal, according to the washing lady. The appartment was not available until about 10 pm!!

Our stay at Villa Percochelle was fabulous. The Villa was charming. It was convenient to get around, spot-less and spacious. This Villa has everything for you, space, utensils, radio, blow dryer, iron and even a play-pen for infants (which we didn't need but just so you know). The landlord, Robina takes pride with her dwelling. Robina makes special visits to manage the recycling for you almost daily and she does not disturb you at all, but we became friends. We shared alot of laughs and good cheer, and Robina has good solid Italian advise. She was most helpful. She took care of our needs whenever we asked. We Loved It and Will Return!! Just remember to bring good solid walking shoes and enjoy every sight!

This newly refinished apartment was well equipped and conveniently near a bus stop. The agent, Ms. Fortunata, could have been more helpful by explaining how to walk to town, where the bus stops were, etc. Also,we had to learn the hard way that some of the switches in the kitchen turned of the refrigerator and other appliances. This should have been explained in the info packet.
The apartment is beautiful and was perfectly clean upon our arrival. We all enjoyed our stay and it worked out well with two couples and a teenager. We cooked several meals there and had everything we needed.
No wifi was available.
Ms. Fortunata told us that we could park on the street if we could find a place. That resulted in getting a parking ticket because street parking is available only to residents.
