Villa Debra A is a charming independent house built sheer above the sea. It sleeps four people. From Villa Debra A you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri . Villa Debra A is 55 square meters (590 square feet). It features direct access to the sea, a private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating.

You will be roughly 800 meters (half a mile) from Positano, where you will find restaurants, shops, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the stop for the local bus and the... SITA bus a few meters (feet) away and the closest beach at 250 meters (approximately 820 feet) including 300 stairway steps. You will reach Villa Debra A from the street level going down a stairway which consists of approximately 56 steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Debra A. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, for a fee, in a reserved parking space. The parking space is suitable for small car (the size of a Fiat Punto or smaller). Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. Alternatively, you can park along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).

Villa Debra is a characteristic house of Positano, built on a isolated rocky cliff overlooking the sea. Visible from the sea only, if you look it from afar Villa Debra looks like a wonderful mass of white terraces, flowering verandas and red bougainvillea pergolas.

From the terraces you will be able to see a small sandy beach held in a delicious bay, as well as a small stretch of overgrown rocky coast. Positano and Capri are both visible from this spectacular panorama!

You will enjoy magic moments watching the sunset behind Capri Island: the landscape clothes itself with a warm golden light... simply gorgeous!

From the property you will have a direct access to the sea and to a public gravel beach, which offers a restaurant and a cafe. You will reach it going down a private walkway that is cut into the rocky cliff and includes approximately 150 stairway steps. The access to the sea is shared with the other guests staying at the complex. The facilities are available from the beginning of June until the end of September.

The terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a porch. It is equipped with a table, chairs and two deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri.

The living room is paved with lucid sky-blue majolica tiles. The furnishings are bright and cheerful. The furnishings include a wickerwork sofa. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!). The dining table can accommodate four guests. From the living room you will be able to enter the large terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The furnishings are elegant and bright. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). In this room you will find a television. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the large terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

The second bedroom is 10 square meters (107 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the corridor. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches).

The bathroom is tiled with lucid handmade majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, large fully-enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

  We stayed in Villa Debra a for a week and it was perfect for our holiday., which was to walk some of the mountain paths. The view from the balcony is spectacular, out to the islands, up and down the coast and of arienzo beach below, which you have a stairway to. My husband swam most days but the water was still a bit cold for me. There is a bus stop right outside for the Sita buses to amalfi and Sorrento and also for the local buses between Praiano and Positano. It is only 450m to the Sponda bus stop and Positano, and in the other direction it is only 500m to the walking path to Nocelle and the start of the "Path of the Gods". The villa is equipped with everything, dishwasher, washing machine (pegs and clothesline on balcony), very good wifi, satellite TV, and has a large shaded balcony where you can spend your days if you want to. The main bedroom has screened french doors onto the balcony so you can hear the waves breaking on arienzo beach at night. The whole apartment is air-conditioned, but this was not necessary during our stay. The road is above you but you rarely hear it. The villa is nestled in among other houses and apartments occupied by extended family who are all friendly and welcoming, including the cats, and also other guests. We were met by anna on arrival who welcomed us warmly and was available for any enquiries. We hope to return to Positano and would love to stay in Villa Debra a again.

  beautiful rental

  anna provided great service and was there if we needed her. The place is very clean and beautiful inside. Not that we stayed inside that much just because the view is unbelievable. its about a 10 minute walk to the heart of Positano but we enjoyed taking it a few times a day. The beach below was perfect and relatively private. Overall it was the most beautiful place I have stayed in Italy so far.

  Absolutely wonderful apartment rental in Italy!

  My wife and I recently returned from 2 weeks on the amalfi Coast. We rented Villa Debra a for the entire stay. We have rented apartments all over the world and this villa was one of our best choices! It is better than the pictures on the website. The view from the villa is breathtaking. The location is perfect to visit all of the other amalfi towns. The beach was absolutely beautiful. The ruins at Pompeii are easily reached. The villa was immaculate and the owners were so easy to work with. We could not give a higher recommendation than we would for this villa.

  Beautiful place, amazing views, waking up to the sound of the ocean is unforgettable. Nice walk to town, lots to do and explore. Unforgettable honeymoon and we can't wait to go back!!
