We stayed here for our honeymoon in June. This was the last leg of our Italy trip and gave us so much needed relaxation. Villa Faustina C is in the most perfect location and offers amazing views. Everyone was very friendly and our room was cleaned just about every other day with fresh towels provided. We recommend this place to everyone we talk to and hopeully will be visiting again!

My 17 year old daughter and I spent a week at villa Faustina C in april. The weather wasn't always great, but the apartment was very nice, and easy to get to from the bus. The room was a good size for 2 people, bath was very nice and the people in the shop below are very friendly and helpful - we would recommend it!

This is a fantastic spot! We were upgraded to a
larger room without asking when we arrived. What a
pleasant surprise. The new room had a separate
bedroom, not the studio we initially rented.
Although we had more room - nice over our week
there - it is the location of these flats that make
them so nice. Near, but not too near, to the beach
area and shops. We could sit on our balcony and
people watch as well as watch the boats coming and
going. It's not too loud in the evening but you
are not too far removed either. We had daily maid
service - didn't expect that - and the facilities
were clean and modern. (Limited English on the TV
but who really cares!) The ladies at Idillio, the
shop below who are the landladies, were very
helpful and pleasant. Positano is a beautiful
place, nicer we thought then the other nearby
towns, and transportation in and out is readily
available. From here you can easily visit Capri,
Pompeii, Sorrento, etc. Watch yourself when you're
walking, though, as the vehicles speed by rather
too close for comfort. We often ate a larger mid-
day meal then ate in later - cold meat, cheese and
wine on the balcony - but keep in mind the cooking
facilities were minimal. We went in early May
which proved to be a great time - warm, even hot
some days, but not excessively and certainly not as
busy as later in the season, though it was crowded
over the holiday weekend (May 1st) with Italians.
All in all, a superb spot and we recommend Positano
and Villa Faustina highly.
Anniversary in Positano

My wife and I vacationed at Villa Faustina C and absolutely loved it. The room is a good size for the price, and the terrace view is amazing. The beach and restaurants are about a 10 minute walk, while the closest bus stop (day trips) is just a few minutes away. We hope to visit again soon! Such a beautiful place...
Lovely Place and an Incredible Value for Positano

Villa Faustina C is a lovely place to stay while in Positano. The large bed/sitting room is well appointed and the bathroom's soaking tub with the hydro jets feels great after trekking the hills of Positano (it has a shower too). You are a five minute walk from the town "square" and a 10-15 walk from the beach. The local grocery store knows Mrs Angela - the best owner caretaker ever - and will deliver your groceries (bottled water, olives, cheese, fruit)so you can stock the fridge. The neighborhood? How about being right next to LeSirenuse Hotel - one of the top 10 hotels in the world. The kitchen is not equipped for preparing large meals. I recommend you take the wonderful breakfasts offered at an extremely afordable price. I had mine served on the terrace every morning as I looked out over the sea and the valley. Louisa and Anna - the sweet chamber maids -keep the place immaculate. For a great meal close by - turn left as you exit and walk about 25 yards to Bruno's for homemade pasta with fabulous seafood. Dress up and treat yourself at least once to Restaurant La Sponda in the LeSirenuse. In town go to Max's and get an outside table -- you must have the lemon mousse. For 6 Euros each way you can take a fast ferry boat to Amalfi. There you can visit teh spectacular Cathedral de St Andrea and equisite stationary. Buy your ceramics at LizArt in Priano - they will ship it all home safely. I recommend you hire a driver to pick you up at the Naples airport and take you right to the front door of Villa Faustina. You can take a boat but you will need to hire porters at the beach to carry your luggage uphill to Villa Faustina unless you packed light and are very fit. I hired Claudio Lucibello from Summer In Italy's website and found him reliable, professional and friendly. Arrange for a cell phone or you can go to the electronics store at the Bar Internationale bus stop and Giovanna will set you up with an Italian SIM card and can even sell you a simple cell phone.

Fabulous location, great for the family

We stayed here last June with our infant son and had a wonderful family vacation. Everything was beautiful, neat, and clean. After spending the day strolling and boating, we put our baby to bed and opened up a bottle of wine on the terrace. The view over Positano was perfect - the same view as the luxurious Hotel Le Sireneuse for a fragment of the cost. Don't miss the pasta with fresh clams at Max's restaurant - the best we've ever had.
We would definitely recommend Villa Faustina and Summer In Italy again - although next time we might try one of the other towns on the Amalfi Coast, as Positano, while lovely, is a bit on the touristy side for a relaxing seaside getaway.
