A lovely villa . . . this was our second visit.

Left on 04/28/2013 for a stay in March 2013

We returned to Villa Giancarlo this spring with our teenager and friends. It is a lovely accommodation with stunning views off 4 balconies. The interior decor is also very beautiful. We again had a terrific time and can recommend it without hesitation for anyone wanting to stay in Positano.

At the end of our wonderful stay, we agreed that Giancarlo could take some very tiny steps to make things a bit easier for his guests by supplying some basics: paper towels, paper napkins, enough towels for everyone to change mid-week, salt and pepper, a tea kettle. While dish detergent and the like was supplied, it doesn't appear that he checked to make sure there was enough for the week. Also, there were only 3 wine glasses in the villa. I think they just need to check things out a little better. Make sure that what should be on hand actually is on hand. It's not that they are so costly that we didn't want to buy these things. Rather, we were on vacation would have preferred not to have to spend time getting these basics.

We would happily rent this villa again next time we go to Positano.

      Amazing Villa, Breath Taking views...

Left on 10/21/2012 for a stay in September 2012

What a wonderful, gorgeous location this villa offers.. glistening in the sun with stunningly beautiful views over Positano and the amalfi Coastline. This stunning villa offers an amazing quality and truly an awe inspiring atmosphere to enhance a truly wonderful holiday. The Gaincarlo family were very welcoming upon our arrival.
The town of Positano offers an unique experience with beautiful alleys, beach, shops, cafes and welcoming restraurants. There is a local bus service which enables you to enter the quaint township or a beautiful walk down meandering streets (lots of steps), grocery stores which offer a free delivery (over a certain purchase price) and an overall friendly welcoming atmosphere.Thank you for the most wonderful and enchanting holiday experience. Outstanding villa

Left on 05/26/2012 for a stay in May 2012

The villa exceeded our expectations. The Giancarlo family were lovely, attentive and everything we needed was there. Outstanding views from the 4 terraces. Lovely furnishings. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location. We miss Positano and this villa already. Spectacular. Booked through Summer In Italy and they were so helpful, quick to respond to questions and gave us excellent guidance to this villa and our stay in Italy.

      Fabulous Family Fun

Left on 07/28/2011 for a stay in June 2011

My husband and I booked Villa Giancarlo from New Zealand and invited our adult children and their spouses from around the world, to join us. Having 3 ensuited bedrooms and plenty of space made this place an ideal holiday home. The views were breath taking. Luckily we were fit as we were a long way up the hill and we had to go down lots of steps to reach the beach and the shops. There is plenty to do in Positano and its surrounding towns. The whole renting transaction went smoothly and we were met by the owner on arrival. It was a holiday of a life time!

Al chilling at Villa Giancarlo, Positano Family dinner on the deck at Villa Giancarlo 3 lovely decks - all looking out to sea. View of Positano from the boat.

Large, clean villa with fantastic views from almost every room. Just as appears in the photos. Close to many restaurants and although it is a bit of a hike up from the beach, there is the local bus if you don;t feel like walking.

A truly amazing and memorable experience

Left on 11/24/2009 for a stay in September 2009

We stayed at Villa Giancarlo, we were a party of 7. There was four adults and three children. Our holiday to Italy was the first time we had booked a holiday over the Internet, I was very impressed how easy and straight forward it was.
We received e-mails with good detail about our trip and advice. Our queries were dealt with promptly.

We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw Villa Giancarlo it definitely had the wow factor! It was big enough to cater for seven of us, and we still had our own space while holidaying together.
The Villa was clean, authentic and the ocean views were just breathtaking!

There are a lot of steps in Positano, but I liked this because it is completely different to any other location that I have visited. Positano is tiered, so nearly wherever you are you can see for miles over the ocean. There were lots of trips available we went to Capri for the day and visited the Blue Lagoon. My children thought that this was a real pirate adventure.
On the way home to the airport at Naples we visited Pompei and Mount Vesuvius, incredible educational, once in a lifetime experience.

If you go to Positano save a few extra pennies than you would normally, because the extra touches cost a bit more but are well worth it!!
I liked everything, I disliked nothing.
      Grazie e arrivederci.

Left on 06/25/2009 for a stay in April 2007

The villa was absolutely beautiful and the views were breathtaking! The villa was very large & spacious, bright and very comfortable. The terraces were wonderful & the villa was in a perfect location in Positano. The owner was very nice and is just a phone call away if needed. Everything was wonderful about this villa, the location & views, Positano and the service that we received. I highly recommend this to anyone!
