Although there may be many steps leading up to this vacation house in Italy, it is definitely worth the climb! Located high in the town of Positano will have wonderful views over the surrounding rooftops and sea, which can be seen from your private balcony. This self-catering accommodation along the Amalfi Coast has many windows and offers lots of light. It’s also important to note that you’ll be within walking distance (down and up!) of the beach.
This recently restored two-story house overlooks the town of Positano as well as the Amalfi Coast. There is a private balcony furnished with a table and ch...airs. Please be aware that approximately 83 steps lead up to the entrance of this house and there are two additional staircases once inside. Whereas parking is difficult here, it is easy to rely on public transportation and walking. If you must bring a car, there is a public garage in the area which charges about 20 Euros a day. It is possible to reserve a space in advance.

Ground floor: The entrance opens to a staircase of 20 steps that leads up to a bedroom with a 90 cm single bed and windows overlooking the rooftops of Positano. There is also one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
First floor: A staircase of 12 steps leads up to a combined living and dining room with a couch, armchairs, satellite TV, DVD player, fireplace, and a round table with chairs. A small kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. There is one bedroom with a 160 cm queen-sized bed, air conditioning, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.
The property is located in the upper part of Positano and is 100 meters from a road that houses restaurants, markets, coffee shops and more. If you continue on this road for about 600 meters, you will reach the center of town where there are more restaurants, shops, ice creameries, markets, a bank, and post office. From the town center is a pedestrian path of 600 meters, which will lead to Spiaggia Grande Beach. There are also bus stops in town that can take you up and down to other beautiful towns along the coast, including Amalfi. The local bus stop is within 100 meters of the house. Amalfi is a town that dates back to the 6th century and was once an important trading center with historical and medieval architecture throughout the town. The main sites include the Duomo, in Amalfi's center, the cathedral of Sant' Andrea, which dates back to the 11th century, and the Cloister of Paradise. There is also a museum dedicated to the works of Morelli and a museum where you can view artifacts of Amalfi's long, and interesting history. During the summer months, there are daily ferries leaving from Positano to Capri, Sorrento, and Naples. Whereas parking is difficult here, it is easy to rely on public transportation and walking. The women who met us were lovely. Everything was very clean. Excellent location. Just far enough away from the tourists to give you a more local feel, and close enough to the bus that goes throughout Positano to make it accessible. The flat had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a little kitchen with some provisions and a beautiful view. My husband and I would make coffee in the mornings and sit on the balcony. Delightful.
