Krakow, PolandSleeping in Mozart's bed
Left on 01/16/2013 for a stay in January 2013
I spent 4 nights in the Mozart apartment at Uhelny Trh 1 in Prague in the mid Jan 2013. That was extended weekend – my wife me and 2 kids. Prague’s spirit is great enough not to pay too much attention for the things of this world ;-) but good accommodation does not make any harm to spiritual experience. This apartment certainly supports excellent experience.
Perfectly located – at the triangle place Uhelny Trh - 5 mins walk for the heart of Prague Old town. The apartment is located on the first floor of 500 years old building where the contemporary owner of the house hosted Mozart. The house was mentioned in my guide book even. There is a lot of dining opportunities just across the street or place (not all of them good though – please see my other reviews from Prague).
The apartment is very well equipped with all items you would typically need to have a good stay (no good coffee machine). Extremely spacy living room, bathroom with bathtub and shower, narrow sleeping room (two single beds) and small separate WC. Air-conditioning. Since this was January, important thing was that apartment was well heated enough to melt down quickly after 5 hours winter walk. Our kids slept on convertible sofa and they really enjoying. Broadband WiFi free.
The apartment let by Prague Residences. Extremely professional, well organized and communicating very well. Truly trustful team.
There are some nuances which could have been improved. Let me point them out not to even express dissatisfaction – just to keep the picture full.
- TV channels available would be useless for most tourist I believe – not major networks – just channels I had not idea nor interest about – more than 50% in arabic. No idea why ???
- We had got 2 sets of key – one was more or less ok, the other one was really hard to use, very difficult to lock/unlock doors or even put the key in/put out – not appropriate for ladies/kids. Check it out beforehand.
- I asked for the restaurant recommendation – U Vejvodu (Husova Str) that was the recommendation. I would not be say a word if no recommendation provided – but why to recommend a restaurant which does not deserve it?
- Apartment was clean but some elements would require small refresh – some spots on the walls, dirty scratches etc and tiles wall joints in the bathroom – some black stains – you know. Nothing terrible, but…
I paid 200 EUR + for 4 nights for four people. Definitely good value for the money. I would easily recommend it. -

We stayed for a week in this apt. and it was fabulous. The beds were good, all appliances worked (except washer) and the location was first rate. The pick up from the station went smoothly as did the handing over of the keys. There was a Tesco up the street where we shopped, many good restaurants just on the square and the tram system was close by and easy to use. beer was cheap and people very friendly. Learn to say "please" and "thank you" in Czech, it's a hit with the locals.

The apartment was very nice and roomy. Having laundry machines was a plus. The location was great - walking distance to everything. The shuttle service was phenomenal - we were able to get from the train station and to the airport very easily for a reasonable price.
The only issues were that the locks were sometimes hard to open, which I suppose means that the place was pretty safe. Also, we ran out of hot water on our second night, but this was like the fifth shower of the day so that may be normal. -

The appartment is right in the old town. Right in front of street door there is an alley that gets you to a big street. If your cross that street and turn right, just before the corner, there is a big department store (in case you forgot anything) and a grocery store in the basement which has also everything you need to eat at the appartment. Everything is at walking distance. The appartment has a bedroom (a bit of a squeeze for the bed) but very comfortable. Prague is noisy 24 hrs a day but with the windows closed it is ok, you can open the one near the toilet. Everything advertized in the description is there. Washer, dryer, bath, good kitchen, dishwasher (although we didn't use it). Large livingroom/diningroom. It would be great if there were a couple more pots/pans. We are in our 60's and love having breakfast and sometimes supper at the appartment.

Toronto, ONLovely quiet location right in the middle of town
Left on 09/16/2011 for a stay in September 2011
This is a great space, roomy, clean, comfortable, and it is in an ideal location. In the Old Town, 5 minutes away from the town square but away from the touristy beaten path. Right next to the daily market (food and artisan wares), cafes, the metro, and definitely an easy walking distance from most sights (which are mostly in the Old Town area).
Four of us stayed here, and I wouldn't recommend any more people than that, unless you really plan on not spending any time other than sleeping in the apartment. But for four people, it is a good amount of space!
You have to call upon arrival to check in, then someone comes within five minutes to let you in. But you have to make sure that you know how to use the payphone (right beside the apartment) or have a working cell phone. -

This location and the apartment itself are just terrific. The old details are wonderful! It's not too close to the ticky-tackiness of Old Town's heart but you can walk everywhere (that's Prague for you). The interior space is very gracious--living room and bedroom are larger than our NYC apartment! And the management was very very good. Only caveat is some of the equipment--why not provide a coffee maker of any sort, or a trashcan in the bathroom, or laundry soap, or directions for the washing machine? It would take very little to make this place five stars in every regard.Still, I'd certainly stay here again.

Reasonable price, got provided with a shuttle service from the airport at a very low price. Was met at the apartment by our contact who gave us a map of the area and advice on the local shop, bars and good currency exchange places. Tidy flat with everything that one needs.

We only have good words for this acomodation. All our expectatives were accomplished. Great place, high quality comfort and a price incredible. The service was also perfect. Only one suggestion, it would be great to have a place where leave the bagage if you arrive sooner than the time you have booked the place.

A nice large apartment close to everything. The weather was cold and the apartment nice and warm. It had all the amenities one can need and many I didn't use - like washer and dryer. Only thing missing was a coffee maker which they provided to me the next day! They met me at the train station, arranged my transfer to the airport when I left. Check in was easy, fast and informative. I will stay here again and use the Prague Residence booking site again. No complants.

although i stayed in the mozart apartment only two nights it was extremely comfortable and very spacious. there are several rooms to it including a separate bedroom. there is even a washer and dryer in it that was available to use although i never really mastered the instructions.the kitchen was very well equipped as well. pavel and tana were the nicest people. they made my stay really enjoyable. pavel even printed out my boarding passes at their office for my flight the next day. the airport pickup and drop off were also very prompt. all in all i couldn't have had a better stay.
