Description from the manager
Set in a newly restored UNESCO-protected royal palace, this exclusive two-bedroom boutique apartment is located in the most beautiful part of the Prague’s Old Town in the vicinity of the Old Town Square.
The palace was built in second half of 12th Century, in the basement are three of the best-preserved Romanesque cellars in Prague.
Enlarged in the Gothic style by the Lords of Kunstat and Podebrady in the 15th Century, it is surrounded by a courtyard with an original palace wall - older than Prague’s castle walls. The large trees, vinothèque, and impressive reconstructed wooden Renaissance gate preserves the atmosphere of age...Read more

San Jose, IbizaA great place to stay in the city centre
Left on 01/10/2013 for a stay in November 2012
Our stay at the Royal Palace Prague Residencies was perfect from booking to completion, so much so that we have already booked to return there in just a few weeks.
The staff were so helpful by email and in person and organised our pick up and return to the airport in a nice Mercedes saloon at a very reasonable price. We were shown to our apartment on arrival and given just the information we needed to get us started on our Prague adventure - cash points, shops, places of interest and so on.
The apartment itself was just as we imagined, quite stylish, very clean, spacious and well equipped. The highlight for my wife was the lovely light bedroom with windows in each of its four walls and the extremely comfortable bed.
As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a smell from the drains in the bathroom, it's not overpowering and there is an extractor fan (or a window to open in summer) though as we live in Spain we are probably more accustomed to this type of thing.
At the start of a traffic free street, the building is quiet - important for us as we live in a small village and aren't used to traffic noise - and we slept well every night.
The location of the Royal Palace is superb. Only minutes on foot to all the main attractions, with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby, there's no worry about getting about or using public transport.
My two main recommendations (apart from stay at the Royal Palace) would be
a. drink Tank Beer - it's the best I've ever had
b. go on a free guided walking tour from the brochure in reception. They're interesting, funny, sociable and really give you a feel for the city and its incredible history.
