Set in a newly restored UNESCO-protected royal palace, this exclusive two-bedroom boutique apartment is located in the most beautiful part of the Prague’s Old Town in the vicinity of the Old Town Square.
The palace was built in second half of 12th Century, in the basement are three of the best-preserved Romanesque cellars in Prague.
Enlarged in the Gothic style by the Lords of Kunstat and Podebrady in the 15th Century, it is surrounded by a courtyard with an original palace wall - older than Prague’s castle walls. We made a very much lastminute booking via the web (ie as we pulled out of Budapest on the train...) and John the owner was very responsive and helpful, pulling together everything so that we had the booking and directions by the time we arrived in Prague some hours later.. The Unit itself is in a small old quarter apartment complex with a small courtyard and very private. It was also very quiet, which is good for light sleepers (but it was Feb as well..) Halina the housekeeper was waiting for us and very welcoming. She and her husband look after the place and this is a good added security in my mind. The unit itself is a studio type affair but for a couple it has everything you need if you are intent on exploring as opposed to chilling out. By this I mean free wifi to get organised, TV, stereo good bed, kitchen and amenities - incl dishwasher and a good bathroom with good hot water! The heating was excellent as well and under our control.

The accommodation was really beautiful. I was very satisfied. The accomodation is big and in quiet place of Prag and near the center.
