Casa Agata is a nice apartment situated in the center of Praiano and recently restaured, near all type of shops, bars, restaurants, internet-point and the bus-stop. At a short walk there is the possibility of parking free of charge along the road.
The apartment is located at the second floor of a morefamilyhouse beside the mainroad of the village. From the terrace you have seaview, view to peninsula of Sorrento with Capri on horizon.

The apartment is well located (sea and culture) in a small town and has a splendid seaview with a shared patio. It is well equipped and clean and has very friendly hosts.
The only inconvenience is the rather busy road. -

I must start by saying that the whole amalfi coast (except maybe for Sorrento) is made of mountains and slopes where all buildings are perched. So everyone has a view of the sea as across the street they are lower and behind you higher up the slope. The only downside to this wonderful scenery is that you need to go up and down a lot of stairs and alleys. In some cases, you have to park in a public place and drag your suitcase across the main square in the midst of large crowds. The advantage of Praino is that it was one of the smaller villages along the Southern coast and it made matters a little easier to access our apartment. However you do need to park quickly in front of the apartment and bring your luggage upstairs and go park your car on the outskirts of town. Fortunately Cata agata is about 3 buildings away from the edge of toen so the walk back is not too long. But there are 30 steep steps to climb to the apartment, all about 9 inches high. It's best to have small light luggage. But once up there, the view is superb and the apartment is a gem. Recently renovated, it has all the modern appliances you could need. It is fairly roomy with beautiful green tiles and arched doors and ceilings. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom at the far end of the apartment was very quiet at night. No street noise at all. Everything was super clean (German owners). There were only a few problems with hot water and the shower head but it was quickly fixed by the agent who lives on the upper floor. Even the same level neighbors pitched in to help when the gas ran out of one container. Alway trying to help. The agent, who is the sister-in-law of the owner of the apartment, was also kind enough to allow me to use her wifi network, major plus for us. Very happy with this apartment. There was a convenience store at the bottom of the stairs and a superb restaurant across the street overlooking the sea.
