Casa Maria Cristina lies in the center of Praiano, the heart of Amalficoast, midway between Amalfi and Positano, the mountains "Monte Lattari" in the back, the Gulf of Salerno in front.
Two doublebedrooms (one doublebed can become two single-beds), livingroom with sofa-bed, kitchen and bathroom. Babycampingcot is available by request.
Large sunterrace (35m2) with seeview, view to Positano and peninsula of Sorrento with Capri on horizon. Next to the bus-stop, all kinds of shops for selfcatering, bars, restaurants and internet-café. Free parking on the roadside at 50m from the vacationhome, payparking at 300m.

Nach der ersten Woche amalfiküste mit eher durchschnittlichen Unterkünften betraten wir die Casa Maria Cristina mit gemischten Gefühlen und wurden direkt eines besseren belehrt.
Highlight ist auf jeden Fall die große Terasse, bei deren ausblick keine weiteren Worte notwendig sind.
Aber auch das apartment als solches bietet jeglichen Komfort. Mit zwei Schlafzimmern, extra Wohnzimmer, einer geräumigen (und praktisch eingerichteten) Küche und Tageslichtbad konnten wir auch die wenigen Regenstunden genießen.
Die Gastfreundschaft der Familie - insbesondere von Britta - war ebenfalls super. Hilfsbereit und ansprechbar, ohne aufdringlich zu sein.
Vielen Dank für eine superschöne Woche in Praiano, wir kommen wieder.

Really well equiped appartment, great terrace and great view. Sitting watching the sunset was the best thing we did on a packed holiday. Britta, the owner, was so helpful and the fresh figs she kept us supplid with were gorgeous. Thanks loads.

L'endroit est très beau, a l'extérieur comme à l'intérieur. Cet appartement est très propre et la cuisine semble neuve. C'est un endroit très paisible. Le seul problème peut etre la difficulté de trouver un parking, ca semble toujours possible mais il faut parfois marcher 5 a 10 minutes.

We loved the apartment. The owners were great and treated us like part of the family. We had fresh donuts delivered to us one morning. Everyone is friendly. The view is the best and it was great to sit out on the huge terrace and take it all in. The bus stop is very close and easy to catch to go all along the amalfi coast. We would love to go back someday.
There is a couple small grocery stores and a fish market and meat store nearby and if you like walking which is a way of life there, there are two other grocery stores a little further away. Don't go to tha amalfi coast if you do not like to walk or climb. -

We, a couple with our 2 grown-up children, stayed at this apartment for 1 beautiful week in July. The apartment is even better than the photos. Arrangements for the rental were easy and the owner fluent in english and german extremely helpful. During our stay she assisted with tours and information regarding the area - such a pleasure. Great to know that there is someone there to assist without being intrusive. We were spoilt with fresh produce from the garden - most appreciated. The apartment is very well equipped - but the very best is the most amazing terrace with the most impressive view. Sundowners on the terrace are just amazing. The central, yet quiet, location makes shopping and bus travel very easy ...and the small local beach down lots of stairs is just so very special. Wi-Fi availability is great. We certainly recommend this apartment for a wonderfully relaxing time amongst very friendly and welcoming residents. Thank you for a very special holiday. We hope to be back.

It was wonderful staying at Casa Maria Cristina. The owners are very nice, the place very clean and comfortable, the view is beautiful and Praiano is a charming village between two touristic towns, Positano and amalfi. I highly recommend Casa Maria Cristina.

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed and we normally rent apartments when traveling in Europe. We had this spacious, clean, lovely place for a week and really regretted leaving. The terrace and view were spectacular. We had everything we needed to do our cooking in this kitchen---very modern. There are steps to get to the apt but there are steps everywhere in this area. The owner was available to help but was not intrusive.

My brother and I stayed in this lovely apt. for a week in early September. It is centrally located between Positano and amalfi but with less crowds and more charm. It was a short 350 steps down to the very warm water and a cement beach that was almost ours alone. Our wonderful host Britta, who speaks very good English, arranged a discounted boat trip to Capri that was most enjoyable. There is a market downstairs, Angela's, and she too is delightful. She would make us fresh caprise sandwiches to go and always had a bottle of my favorite Pinot Grigio chilled in the walk in. A resturant in town served sea bass baked in salt. It was the most delicious meal of our trip. We definately plan to return and have recommended to all our friends.
