The villa has been built on the cliff above the sea in the beautiful Amalfi Coast which from Praiano alternates inlets and promontories in a succession of nature wonders all the way to Amalfi. The terrace offers spectacular sunset views overlooking the Gulf of Salerno and the Saracen Tower of Praiano. You enter the villa up a flight of about 80 steps. The villa is composed of three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, a large living area with dining table for 10 people, two bathrooms with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. After a bit of trouble finding the place (the 'street' is really a path - no cars allowed) we climbed a bunch of stairs and found a nice, spacious villa, with fantastic views. The owner? Patrizia lived below, and she was great. However, the rental agent, Giuseppe took forever to get us registered. We had a van which didn't fit the area provided, so he took us to a nearby lot and told us it would be E80 for the week, as was shown on the internet listing. However, when we left, we needed to pay E170! No amount of arguing helped and the head of the agency, Cutty Sark was even worse. He had every excuse but none made any sense. He also denied that the spot we would have used if we had a small car, was used by someone else, but there was a car in it every day, no doubt paying rent. The other issue we had was the kitchen. Narrow but not bad. However, it wasn't very well equipped, the freezer reeked of dead fish and there were ants everywhere, including inside the dishwasher. Patrizia sprayed a couple of times but it didn't help much.

Parking has not been booked through our company, so we can not be hold responsable for prices made by third parties, which are not associated with us. Giuseppe is the key holder and not the head(hononymous name) of the agency and he just did a favour to show a place where to park a van (and not a standard car!). Not having any responsability for this parking problem, of course we refused the requested refund.

I recently arranged to stay at this beautiful home. We has three families (9 in total) and the rooms were generous the house was spottless and the view were spectacular.
I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is able to climb the 100+ steps to this beautiful home away from home.
