Beautiful modern villa. Very private.
With gardens and outdoor swimming pool.
The house is on two levels.
Ground floor comprises of a small entrance hall with stairs leading to the upper floor. A toilet. A large living and dining area with large french windows giving views over the ocean, garden and swimming pool.
The kitchen is fully equiped and includes a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven with four gas burners.
The utility room houses the washing machine and refrigerator/freezer.
On the upper floor are two bedrooms. Both with double beds. One master bedroom with ensuite fascilities.

Shorter rentals, less than 7 nights and rentals of 4 weeks or more are on special request.
On request we can do your pre arrival shopping, so you have basic provisions already in the house when you arrive. Standard cost is 10.00 Euro plus the cost of the items you request.
Special "Candlelight" evening dinners can be provided, on request at an extra cost.
Reservation Deposit:
A non refundable deposit of 30% of the rental rate must be made as soon as possible to secure a booking, the balance to be paid 6 weeks before check-in at the accommodation.
Bookings made inside 6 weeks of check-in:
If a booking is made inside 6 weeks of check-in, the full payment is required and it is non-refundable.
Cancellation:
If clients have to cancel, communication must be in writing, via e mail, as soon as possible.

My wife and I received a warm welcome to a 9 night stay. The house is comfortable, spacious, well equipped and well maintained, and in a generally quiet location with impressive views down to the sea. The pool and surrounding attractive and quite secluded garden is a great plus. Prazeres is a mix of old and new; not a particularly picturesque village but having a quiet charm that grew on us. It is also located on an extensive east - west levada walk that winds off into very pleasant countryside and woodland in both directions. The west end of the island is the quieter end and there are extensive countryside areas, as also small villages and towns, within easy reach by car.Funchal is less that 40 mins drive away.

Our fourth holiday in Madeira,
This is now our favourite place.
The house is a real home from home, and is exactly as described in the advert, the photo don't do it justice.It is just ten minutes walk from the church, down a quiet road so is in a very peaceful location.
Prazeres itself doesn't have a lot of amenities so a hire car is probably essential, but if you want to walk straight from the door, the Levada Nova runs through the village, also you can walk down to the coast at Paul do Mar or Jardim do Mar and back if you have the legs.
We had two weeks of winter sun would definitely return. -

We had a great holiday in Madeira. The villa was just as lovely as it looks in the photos. Richard and Zoya are very welcoming and helpful. Prazeres is well positioned for exploring the island.We were very impressed with Madeira, we especially enjoyed the levada walks and the rock pools at Porto Moniz.

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely house. The place is just exactly what I always expect to find on vacation. Quiet and peaceful surroundings; nice, clean and spacious interior; wonderful ocean views; a private pool and courtyard. We rented a car and drove a lot to different places at both southern and northern coasts and mountain locations as well. I believe the place is one of the best starting points for exploring the western half of the island.
And there is one more thing that makes this place literally perfect. The most welcoming warmest and kindest householders. Richard and Zoya, thank you so very much! -

I stayed at Richard and Zoya's lovely home at the end of December 2008 to
bring the New Year of 2009 in - Funchal fireworks are just spectacular!
The house is in a top location, great views of the Atlantic from the back and
side of the house and the deck is a welcome spot to eat all the meals in the
'balmy' days of December.
We rented a car which gives you the freedom to explore the island of
Maderia. Getting to the house from the airport is very straightforward and
the civil engineers have done the island proud with the highways going
through so many mountains (via tunnels!) as opposed to around or even
over them!
The service was great, and very welcoming. The pool is perfect for the
morning and late afternoon swim, a real treat. Wi-Fi is always on so any last
minute checks about the island or reservations, etc., can be done online.
The location of the house is 5 minutes drive from the beach with plenty of
parking and the usual beachfront amenities. Plus a marina with more than
their fair share of high quality crafts and yachts.
Very laid back couple who can't do enough for you to enjoy your stay.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks for an enjoyable visit, I am sure I'll be back for some more of
their hospitality. -

For our seventh anniversary I offered this vacation to my wife because I did
not want anything going wrong due to bad hotel service etc..
And it was wonderful !!
Once arrived, we rented a car and drove to the house and it just felt like
driving in paradise, you need more than a pair of eyes to enjoy all the
sceneries.
The house is superb, we swum a lot in the private pool.
Normally I don't like cooking but in this kitchen with this view I couldn't
resist !
There is a pizza restaurant on the end of the street where they make
magnificent pizza's, even for take away, and so cheap !
There are a few restaurants and also some pubs.
The local people are very open and friendly.
This was an experience we never will forget, it was just what we needed
and next year we will come back !
The only thing we didn't like was when we had to go back home !
