Orchard Holme is a stone built cottage adjacent to the owner's property in the pretty village of Priest Hutton between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Particularly impressed with the fact the owners had d ecorated the cottage for christmas. The real fire was lovely. One of the few cottages we have rented that actually had emough crockery and glasses to round Very well appointed and we all enjoyed our Christmas break there.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage, very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and accommodating owners. Ideally situated for the lake district and surrounding areas. We would highly recommend and hope to return one day.

We had a great time at Priest Hutton,with some nice walks in the area,also the cottage was well set out,with plenty of space for the kids to play,especially in the garden.There are lot's of places to visit within 25 miles of Orchard Holme ,namely the Lake District etc;

Owner very friendly. Cottage was better than we expected, very cosy and welcoming. We weren't sure about having to use a sofa bed for the full week, but the dining room was big enough for us to leave it out and still be able to use the dining table for our meals and evening games. It was also very useful to have a shower and toilet in there so it was like an en-suite and the doors had curtains on them giving privacy to that room.
Although it rained for most of the week it didn't stop us getting out and about. Could have done with an outside tap to make washing the dog and muddy boots easier, but we managed.
The local hotel served very good food and was dog friendly.
Really enjoyed the cottage and would return.

We received a warm welcome and tour of the cottage on our arrival. The cottage is full of character and has every convenience. The cottage is situated in a lovely village. It is located close to a great network of roads ideal for visiting the Lake District and Yorkshire as well as Lancashire. There is so much to do in the area that even after three weeks we had not exhausted all the possibilities.

We Recieved a very warm welcome from the owners. There was a selection of biscuits, tea, coffee & juice for the children which was greatly apprciated. Cottage was cosy & very comfortable. We had everything we needed even a slow cooker which we used to prepare a meal ready for our return after a day out. Lots of places to visit in local area. Very near to lakes & also great for Yorkshire dales & coast. We had a lovely weeks holiday.
