Description from the owner
Northern Knights is a beautiful 3 bedroom cottage just steps from the beach on Prince Edward Island, Canada. We have earned a three-star rating from Canada Select.
Located in Green Gables Shore (Queens County), this cottage was completely renovated in 2011. Formerly one of "Murphy's Sea View Cottages", this spacious gem is nestled in a small group of cottages and overlooks the ocean.
Conveniently located in north central PEI, the cottage is a short drive from Kensington and Summerside and is close to shopping, dining, and attractions. Whether you want to visit Avonlea and walk the beaches of Lucy Maude Montgomery, learn Celti...Read more

We chose Northern Knights Seaview cottage for our stay in PEI.There was plenty of room for the six of us from Onatrio and Nova Scotia. The cottage was exceptionally clean and better equipped than I could have imagined. We didn't feel crowded at all, the cottage is spacious and well layed out.The location was perfect, as it is a short drive to Charlottetown, Cavendish or Summerside, and the view from the cottage was amazing! This cottage is a-1, for sure, and would definitely stay there again,Jim was very accomodating at letting us change our dates and having late a checkout and the Manager Jack was very nice. Thanks Jim for the wonderful holiday you helped us have.
Sincerely

My 2 daughters, husbands and our selves arrived the same day as hurricane Leslie, the cottage was very clean and well equipted with most things you would need, a bit far from every thing if your a senior and no steps going down to the beach so making it impossible to enjoy walking. The owner has done a lot of upgrading making it quite comfortable, lovely deck on 3 sides giving the choice of sun or shade. I think it would be ideal for young familes mainly. Our daughter rented this cottage and she was very well pleased, as were we on most of it.But a new TV would be an asset for sure during bad weather and news time.

The cottage is clean and well equipped, with a nice deck, comfortable common spaces, and easy access to the beach. The keyless entry and outdoor shower were great features. While not directly on the waterfront the beach is a 2 minute walk and the cottage has nice ocean views. There were also lots of board games, puzzles, books in case of rainy days.

Collingwood, ONLovely Cottage, Great Location!
Left on 08/12/2012 for a stay in July 2012
This was a great find for our first visit to PEI. The cottage was recently renovated, and was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. It's just a short walk to the beach - perfect if you want to spend the day or just enjoy an early morning or evening stroll. You can walk a few miles if you want to! And for the rest of the time, the cottage was only a short drive away from Charlottetown, Cavendish, Summerside and several very nice golf courses. We ended our stay with a glorious sunset and a lovely campfire on the beach. Who could ask for more!

Collingwood, ONA Little Piece of Heaven in PEI

The cottage was absolutely immaculate and completely outfitted with new appliances, dishes, cutlery, furniture, very comfortable beds. No lumpy, musty couches or beds here! The white painted walls and wide windows made it open and bright. The walk to the beach was less than 2 minutes-the perfect beach for people who want to swim, walk, collect shells, skip stones, play volleyball, etc. No crowds, just people of all ages there to experience a natural beach area. The location on the north shore was central to many areas. The guys found many golf courses within reasonable driving distance of the cottage. We accessed the Confederation Trail in Kensington. This cottage is wonderful for people who want to get away from it all. The night life is watching the sunsets, looking at stars and having a fire on the beach. Nothing is within walking distance, except the quiet red sand beach. The only souvenirs you will find here are shells and rounded sandstone. Jim was excellent at communicating with us by phone and email. We would highly recommend this cottage to families or couples who enjoy nature and quiet getaways but with the option to drive to nearby tourist attractions.

Saskatoon, SKWonderful Vacation in PEI
Left on 07/20/2012 for a stay in July 2012
It all started when my nine year old Granddaughter said she wanted to go to PEI and to swim in the ocean!
We were travelling from Saskatchewan to Nova Scotia for a wedding and taking the week after to experience atlantic Canada! With my Grandaughters wishes in mind, I found Knights Northern Seaview Cottage on the PEI tourism website!
Booking online was a good experience and all went smoothly.
You can't imagine the excitement, and relief on my part, when we walked in the door of the cottage! It is so nice!!! Very clean, well equipped, bright and cozy and just a short walk to the beach! We loved it!
I met a local lady walking back from the beach one day and found out where we could buy local seafood and vegetables. We cooked mussels, haddock, lobster and delicious PEI new potatoes! What a dream come true for a group of Prairie people!
There were 4 adults and 3 children in the cottage. We had plenty of room! The kids had so much fun and have memories they'll never forget! -

Bridgewater NSGreat location, very comfy, and all the amenities!

We stayed at Knights Seaview just after after remodeling in 2011 and it was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever had. The owner was very pleasant and there was an on-site overseer as well so we felt very secure.
You can hear the waves at night as the very unpopulated beach is just steps away - one of the best beaches on PEI (and I should know - I was born there!). We even saw the northern lights one campfire-on-the-beach night.
The cottage was clean and well-equipped for all of our needs. The master bedroom has a big picture window and you can open the curtains at night to awake to the most gorgeous view of the sunrise over the water.
Thanks Jim - we'll be back soon. - The Langilles, Bridgewater NS
