Come stay with us in this cozy & private three bedroom home, which is situated on the red cliffs of PEI's South Eastern shore, overlooking the Murray Islands and Beach Point Harbour.
Imagine having your morning coffee on the front porch while watching the lobster & mussell fishers perform their daily tasks, walking on the miles of beaches or enjoying a relaxing evening by the campfire. This retreat has it all!

The directions given were bang on, no problems finding the place at all, and we were driving late at night in the rain and fog. The long laneway into the cottage opened up into a huge yard overlooking the water.
The pictures of the cottage on the internet don't do it justice. We just couldn't believe how big it was, and how classy but comfortable the decor was. Even though the
kitchen was well supplied with everything needed to make a romantic seafood dinner...right down to the wine glasses, we prefered to take a little drive into Murray Harbour where we found a quaint little restaurant called Brehaut's. The meals were great...the desserts even better.
What I loved best about Monigans retreat was the completely private beach and the spacious rooms, and also the washer and dryer. The one thing needed in the kitchen was an electric kettle because it took forever for the stove top kettle to boil, and placemats for the table.(the table is beautiful and needs to be protected)
I would definately recommend this cottage.
