Gumbo Limbo and Piperie are two separate villas with a shared car park, and combined make a great option for group accommodation.

The perfect location

The two villas probably have one of

the best locations on Bequia - situated directly above the golden

sand of Princess Margaret Beach.  Gumbo Limbo consists of a 2 bed upper level and a lower studio apartment. Piperie has three double bedrooms and a den perfect for children. These two Bequia

vacation bases both overlook Bequia's best beach, and is just a strol...l away

from the warm turquoise waters, where you can take a dip or explore

some fantastic snorkeling spots.  There is a wooden dinghy dock, and

Jack's Beach Bar located just below the villas - great for a cool drink,

or maybe a quick speedboat trip into Admiralty Bay or the popular

nearby Lower Bay Beach.

The Princess Margaret Beach Villas are newly built holiday villas with typical Caribbean charm,

and the villa has it all for a superb Caribbean beach location.

Both Gumbo Limbo & Piperie are decorated in bright, fresh colours, with a lovely

calm atmosphere.

Gumbo Limbo

Living area

The

living area in the upper level of Gumbo Limbo is open plan and

comfortable, with nice seating, a tv and board games to keep you

entertained, after a hard day of Bequia exploring! This villa is a

short water taxi from the busy Port Elizabeth Harbour, and from

here you can arrange many activities, as well as day cruises to places

like the fabulous Tobago Cays, or Mustique.  The living area also has

big double doors that open out onto the balcony, giving a nice breeze

and feeling of space.

Kitchen and dining areas

The kitchens are

both a good size, and are well equipped with all you will need during

your Bequia vacation.  They are open plan, so you can entertain and

still be social whilst preparing your meals. On the upper

level, there is a nice big breakfast bar with high stools.  Above the

breakfast bar, there are fans installed in the high ceilings, to keep

you cool and feeling refreshed whilst you eat.  There is also a simple

outside dining area.  In the studio, you have the choice of

eating either at the dining table inside, or al fresco at the dining

area out on the balcony.

3 bedrooms

The

upper level of this lovely Bequia villa rental has two airy bedrooms (one double & one twin), both of which open out onto the balcony, so you can wake up and

look out onto the wonderful views of the Princess Margaret Beach.  The

bedrooms also have lovely high wooden ceilings, and the breeze coming in

from the open double doors keeps you nice and cool.  There is also a

comfortable double bed in the studio apartment, which also has large doors that open out onto the balcony.  Gumbo Limbo also has 3

bathrooms, 2 upstairs and 1 in the studio.

Fabulous extra feature

Up a flight of stairs on the upper level, there is a small room that

acts as a great 'look out' with a comfortable sofa, and you can see the

beautiful sights that Bequia has to offer.  This is a great little

space to relax, and take in your surroundings.

The upper level and studio apartment can be rented together or

separately, and work perfectly either way.  The villa therefore works

well for groups of 2, with a maximum capacity for 6 people in Gumbo Limbo or 14 total if combined with Piperie.

Piperie

Piperie

is newly built Bequia villa rental, with a colourful Caribbean style

and large deck areas.

Light kitchen area

With high ceiling and

fan up above, the kitchen in Piperie is well laid out, well equipped

and enjoys plenty of surface space.  Huge windows that look out onto

the balcony and ocean views bring in lots of light, and add a sense of

space.

Dine on the Deck

There is a lovely dining area on the verandah, so you can dine al fresco, in the cool breeze and gaze out over the yachts and headlands reaching out to the sunset.

Lovely bedrooms, ideal family villa

Piperie

has

three en suite double bedrooms (+ a twin bed den) two are set off the main deck at either side of the villa

for privacy and one lovely lower room. Two of the bedrooms enjoy their own private veranda areas.

A

lovely den with twin beds is accessed by natural wooden stairs above the kitchen area - great for children This room has its own

beautiful sun deck too and some of the best views on the island.

Balcony and wooden decking

This

Bequia holiday home has lots of lovely space on the balconies and

wooden decking, all finished with a pretty local style gingerbread trim.  There is

plenty of seating and space to enjoy meals, whilst you benefit from the

cool breeze, and look out onto the beautiful views that Bequia has to

offer.

Jacks Bar Opening

From Jack's,

you can enjoy cool refreshing drinks at the beach bar in the shade -

with beautiful washrooms and dining this is a new feature of Princess

Margaret Beach and one that has many advantages to guests renting the

nearby villas.

During the high season (1st Dec - 30th April)

Jacks is open for dinner just once weekly - Tuesday nights with live

music from around 9pm - 12 / 12.30. Otherwise open from 10am daily for

lunch (no breakfast)

During the low season (1st May - 30th November) Jacks is closed in the evenings.

Recommended for Wedding Groups

Gumbo Limbo and Princess Hill work extremely well for large groups visiting Bequia for a

wedding, family or friends reunion, and can aso be linked with other

villas that are very close by, including Princess HIll Villa, Turtle
