Hanalei Bay Resort 4324 is a great hotel room with a very comfortable King bed. We also provide a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and beach chairs for your convenience. At first we were hesitant about staying on the north shore due to the distance from many of the things we wanted to see but after traveling around there is nowhere else you would want to be. The views from the lanai are wonderful and exotic. Coming from Miami it is hard to impress us with a sandy beach (like on the south end) but lush giant cliffs overlooking incredible bays got us hooked. This place is great for couples looking to get away. We utilized the kitchenette as much as possible eating all of our breakfasts in the room on the lanai. You can't beat the price for all the amenities the resort offers! Overall a beautiful condo and wonderful place to stay in Kauai.

Found the unit to be as pictured and even nicer when seeing all the thoughtful appointments for the guest's comfort firsthand. I'm an interior designer who thinks the owners did a stellar job in remodeling the unit with comfortable, timeless and beautiful furnishings.
Service was excellent, the shuttle service guys especially courteous and prompt which was appreciated in the rain.
Wish we could have stayed longer!

Of the three places my husband and I stayed in during our 10 days in Hawaii, we enjoyed our studio at Hanalei Bay Resort the best! The view was gorgeous, the room well appointed and comfortable and the grounds were well kept. Renovation of some facilities is ongoing so, while I would rank the property higher in service if there was a restaurant/lounge on the premises, there was no lack of good restaurants within a reasonable driving distance. In all, HBR # 4324 was great for what we wanted...a beautiful, restful space from which to venture out, soak up some sun and explore the north and eastern shores of Kauai. We weren't disappointed and, with so many stunning courses in the area, we'll bring our golf clubs the next time!
Room with a view.

This condo was relaxing and well appointed. The view is absolutely wonderful to look at while relaxing in your own space. The only draw back would be is the make-shift kitchen setup. Other than that it is a win win!

Me and my fiancé came to stay for a three day birthday celebration/vacation from Oahu. We totally love the space. The room is clean, comfortable and fully equipped for all your needs. We sat on the lanai over looking the ocean and the mountain. Beautiful view. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub on premises as well. All together it was such a fabulous stay. Mahalo Kristen for all the aloha.

We stayed in unit #4324 for 11 nights. We loved the view of Bali Hai and watching the surfers on the main break from our balcony. The vaulted ceilings are very nice. The bathroom is updated with a nice, spacious shower. We never heard a peep during our stay even though we had neighbors in the connecting larger condo. We did not realize that the kitchen items were in a small closet space, which made food/drink preparation really tricky. The TV is a pull out so you can maneuver towards the bed in the evening, helping to maximize space. The fridge is pretty small as well.. Overall we loved the unit and would stay again, but for a much shorter timeframe since we felt the unit was a little smaller than we thought it would be. The last 2 nights we had to move to #1526 (#4324 was booked). We enjoyed the space of #1526 better in some ways (felt larger) - #1526 also had a large bar/countertop area making it much easier re: food/snacks/drinks with a larger fridge than #4324. Also nice was a separate large dressing area/sink area (separate from toilet). However #1526 is a bit noisier (can hear neighbors), and also no ocean view, but mountain views were nice also. It is also a bit more outdated, but still clean. Closer parking for #1526, but some don't like walking past maintenance/trash areas on back side near this building. We enjoyed #4324 for the view and the updated feel, view, vaulted ceiling and quiet. For a shorter time, this would be perfect, but we felt a little cramped after 11 days and wished the microwave/coffee/kitchen items were in a better location than the small closet. Also wished the fridge was a little larger.

The condo was great...the view from the deck and waking up to the view of Bali Hai from the bed was amazing. The condo had everything we needed. The pool was really nice...unfortunately the waterfalls were not working though. The walk to the beach was short and nice and playing tennis on the courts right there in the beautiful garden setting was fun. Can't wait to come back for hopefully a week next time!

My husband and I stayed in this lovely condo recently and loved it! It was very quiet, with a good view of the water, clean and beautifully furnished. It was very thoughtfully equipped with a coffee maker and microwave, as well as dishes and cutlery. There were also beach chairs provided and a guide to the area. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and we loved spending time there at sunset. Kristen from aloha Condos were outstanding in their communication and provided us with all the information we needed included driving directions and we had no trouble finding the place or checking in. We wished we could stay forever!

We were very pleased with condo unit 4324 at Hanalei Bay Resort. The photos and previous reviews are very accurate as to what you may expect from this unit. The view is absolutely gorgeous from the room and lanai. All the furnishings were comfortable and in great condition. We received great service from Kristen Greene and aloha Condos and highly recommend them as well. If you are looking for a studio unit at the beautiful Hanalei Bay Resort, you will be very happy that you chose this one.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo and we would definitely stay here again. The view from the balcony was amazing. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and offered many ammenities. The bathroom was spacious and updated beautifully. It was a bonus to have the vaulted ceiling and air conditioning. The condo exceeded our expectations. The resort could not be in a more beautiful area on Kauai. The pool was great and the grounds were so lush and tropical. It was very quiet and peaceful during our stay. The only disappointment is that the resort no longer has a restaurant on the grounds.

Our stay at Hanalei Bay Resort was very relaxing and comfortable. The room was nicely decorated with all the necessary amenities. The view of the bay from our balcony was picture perfect and the pool at the resort was a delight. We would definitely stay at this location again. It made for a laid back, worry free vacation. Only things I would change is to include internet access in the room for a more reasonable fee than they offered through the resort and have music in a common area occasionally to add some fun. Really wonderful place though if you're looking for a relaxing vacation and aren't into the uppity hotels/resorts.

Palms 4324 was a small hotel unit with an awesome view of the bay! No kitchen facilities, only a microwave and small refrigerator, and adequate bowls, plates and utensils for 2 people. Air conditioning worked well except it didn't make it to the bathroom. That got very hot. We could have used some more drawer space...or packed less! Very comfortable overall with, again, an awesom view!

This is a beautiful room! Definitely one of the best rooms at Hanalei Bay Resort. The only draw back is the kitchenette is limited (this would not be an issue if you are also renting 4323 as the kitchen is out of this world!). The bed is extra comfy. The bathroom is gorgeous. The management company was excellent. On top of it all the pool area is fantastic and the beach area is very nice too. Views of Hanalei Bay are stunning. This place is even better if you rent the adjoining condo 4323. No question, we will be back!

stayed in another HBR condo 6 weeks prior. Really liked this condo's layout and topfloor open ceiling. the view is hard to beat for a studio. I would stay in this condo again. I would probably put an in-condo washer/dryer on the wishlist, but overall real happy with the value/price ratio.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hanalei Bay Resort Condo 4324. It was
an affordable way to get away to paradise! The room was clean,
comfortable, and well decorated. The view was outstanding! We spent many
hours on the Lanai resting, reading, and relaxing. It was quiet and felt very
private. That alone was refreshing. The bed was adequate and there was a
small refrig, microwave, coffee machine and toaster for breakfasts or
leftovers. The resort's restaurant, the Happy Talk Lounge, was actually really
good and had decent prices for Hawaii. They had good entertainment there
just about every night and the view from the restaurant is breathtaking. The
pool at the resort is top of the line and Condo 4324 is really close to the
pool and everything else, especially the beach. The beach area was perfect.
You can snorkel right at beach, or go out a little bit to catch a wave on one
of the calmer days. If you brought a bunch of stuff down and don't want to
carry it back, no problem! There's a phone at the base of the trail that will
call the front desk. They'll send a cart right on down to pick you up and
take you wherever you want.
We stayed a week there, came back refreshed, and would be more than
happy to stay there again!

The room/condo (one room with microwave, mini fridge) has been beautifully updated. It has a great view of Hanalei Bay with a lovely deck. The king bed was new and very comfortable. Price wise--this met our needs. The resort itself is a bit run down and overgrown. Be prepared to walk to the unit; or ask for a ride on the golf cart--they were always happy to do this for us.
I would recommend unit 4324 for two people! It met our needs just perfectly!

We LOVED our stay in Condo 4324 at the Hanalei Bay
Resort. Great location, great views, very
comfortable bed, nice to have a little fridge,
microwave, coffee maker and toaster ... it was all
good. We enjoyed eating breakfast on our lanai in
the morning - the deck chairs are great. Kristen at
Aloho Condos was very helpful, quick to respond to
any inquiries we had, and even put a welcome basket
in the condo for us. We had a wonderful week in
Kauai and would highly recommend this condo.

This condo is just as pictured...beautiful. It was
recently remodeled and is very clean. The bedding
and mattress are comfortable and of high quality. I
prefer a washable duvet/cover but would certainly
stay here again. Although my husband and I didn't
mind the hikes, I would caution those who have
difficulty walking up and down steep and semi-steep
pavement, as the entire resort is designed around the
terrain to maximize views.

Excellent price in a fantastic spot on the island ... many sites and activities nearby. Room was in good condition and had a great view of the bay. My only complaint is that I would have liked the rental agency to be more consistent with responses to requests - sometimes they responded immediately while others I had to call again or send reminder emails.

If you love the north side of the island and Hanalei town is your thing, than this is the place for you. A short walk from your room and you are on the most secluded beach...for now, until the St. Regis opens back up. Great views from the balcony and relaxed island decor make this an ideal room for two. Decent bathroom and plenty of room. The resort overall could use a place to dine and relax, ie bar, but you are so close to town with many options. Don't miss Bar Acuda, best place to dine! The pool and tennis courts are an extra bonus if you have time. Have stayed at this resort over 10 years ago, each room is unique and I will request this one again.

I can't rave enough about this amazing condo at Hanalei Bay Resort. We also stayed at a nice bed and breakfast on the South Shore and at the Sheraton in Poipu but this was, by far, our favorite place. Kristen, at Aloha Condos was very organized about confirming dates, payment, and sending directions. There was a large welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived, which left us feeling very appreciated. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished with an incredibly comfortable king sized bed, an impressive marble bathroom, plush rug, and a great view. There was just enough kitchen equipment to cover all out needs (eating breakfast in the room, storing and packing our own lunches, and reheating dinner leftovers). The resort itself is in the perfect spot for exploring the north side of Kauai (better than the south in my opinion), it has a great pool, and breathtaking views. The resort itself it about to undergo extensive renovation so it can only get better. We liked the room so much we wished we had spent out entire vacation here. I highly recommend it.

This condo was perfect for our honeymoon. The view of Hanalei Bay from our lanai was absolutely amazing and we ate breakfact every morning out there. The room was clean, large, and met all of our needs. There was even a mini-fridge and microwave so we could keep drinks and snacks in the room. We were totally fine with no frills like room service or daily maid service. It was worth the cheaper prices when compared to other nearby hotels (e.g., St. Regis Princeville Hotel which was next door). The hotel property was very quiet and so relaxing! An employee told us the hotel was 80% full, yet we rarely saw other guests. The pool was fine and we enjoyed the 5-7 minute walk to the beach (the path winds through the trees behind the hotel). Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our stay. We loved our room and when we return to Kauai we will certainly try to stay in this same condo at the HBR.

We liked the resort and pool even though the restaurant was closed. There was a really good lunch barbaque set up at the pool that was very reasonable priced and yummy food. The room was nicely furnished although smallish. It smelled a bit musty. For the price,$99.00 per night, it was a great value. They had a workable set up for a no kitchen unit with a closet that had coffee maker, microwave, toaster and some dishes. There was a dorm size refrigerator which allowed us to store wine and stuff for Mai Tai's and breakfast fixings. This is what we like and it was lovely having breakfast and drinks enjoying the beautiful view. The teak deck lounges were so comfortable you could take a nap. When the weather was good, it seemed perfect. When it rained hard and we couldn't get out so much, it seemed too small. I'd stay there again, especially if it wasn't the winter. We got very lucky and had mostly good weather.
