This unit, by far, has the best views of any unit on the property. My husband and I stayed in J3 for a week in June 2007, and we went back again in July 2011. Both times we found this unit to be very clean, extremely comfortable and stocked with extra amenities (extra towels, linens, beach towels, snorkel gear, laundry detergent, bug spray, etc.). Being budget-minded travelers, we very much appreciated the full kitchen and all of the kitchen utensils, which allowed us to cook most of our meals. Some nights did get warm, but there are ceiling fans and an extra fan in the closet, so we were able to remain comfortable. Overall, we were very comfortable and will stay in J3 every time we visit Kauai.

We had a great time at the Sealodge, and unit J3 was great. We cooked some of our meals at the condo with no problem. Very clean unit, basic, just perfect. We assume when you come to Kauai, you don't spend all day in the condo, am I right? The one downside was the bed, it could be a bit more sturdy and comfortable for a bit better night sleep. Hear the people above us, but wasn't bad at all. We couldn't get our internet to work in the unit, but wasn't worth for us to call and have it looked at--didn't need it. Overall a great stay and would stay at this property again!

I'm a little torn doing a review. On one hand, You can't beat the price for an ocean side view in Princeville. The layout was great and it was in a very nice neighborhood. On the other hand, the condo needed a bit of updating. This is a great condo for couples on a budget, as we were. But if you have the ability, spend the money and get a place that is updated and has A/C. The nights were a little warm and the trade winds just don't help. As for the service, it was great. Making the reservation was easy and the maintenence people were great, stopping by to make sure we didn't need anything. We spent most of our time away from the condo exploring the island so overall, it was a good experience.

The location was amazing, with an absolutely unforgettable view. The condo is not luxury, but it has the necesities. It was great having a washer and dryer in the unit. There are a couple "housekeeping" issues that I think, when attended to, would greatly improve the stay. The showerhead makes an awful noise when being used. The aluminum pans in the kitchen are near impossible to cook with, and very difficult to clean afterwards- this was a source of frustration during the trip. Other than those, and a couple other minor things, we really enjoyed ourselves and would return in the future.
