Our romantic getaway is located in Building A which is the building furthest away from the parking area and the other buildings. First class view

Left on 12/20/2012 for a stay in December 2012

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed the well equipped condo much. It was clean and served perfectly for our needs during our stay. The kitchen offers all the tools needed and the bed with the view is just unbelievably gorgeous.
The complex is a bit on the older side, but well maintained - it didn't bother us.
It was a great locations to explore the island and there is a hidden beach nearby, which is very private.

      Heaven on Earth

Left on 06/29/2011 for a stay in January 2011

I have stayed at this condo many times and love more and more every time I visit! This condo has everything you need. Great views, clean and beautiful condo, Wi-fi, fully stocked kitchen, books for the beach, snorkel gear if you forgot your own, beach chairs and so much more! My favorite part of staying here is waking up in the morning and looking out the window out over the water! The waves crashing on the reef below are so relaxing and it's easy to lose time just listening to the waves and watching the birds. The location is great, up on the north shore, which is personally my favorite part of the island. There is free parking with a permit displayed, which the owners mail to you. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to anyone. I will definitely be back for another relaxing trip and thank you for letting me share a piece of your paradise!!

      Lidia & Ron

      Owner

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at Sea Lodge A2 and on the island of Kauai. We appreciate your comments regarding the sofa bed. You were the first Guests in a few years that used the sofa bed, most of our Guests are couples that don't have the need for the sofa bed.

Updates and comments from our Guests are very important to us. Your comments are the best way for us to make changes and correct any issues a Guest might have. We want our "Guest" to have a truly wonderful carefree experience while staying with us during their vacation.

Unrelated to your review submitted on 06/2011. We replaced / updated the sofa in January 2011 so it should be about as comfortable as any other sofa bed should be.

Mahalo for the kind words, Lidia and Ron.

      An adventurous, romantic, secluded getaway!

Left on 04/30/2011 for a stay in January 2011

Heaven on Earth is what awaits at #A2 Sealodge! My husband and I arrived late at night with our rental car (a must) with clear directions and instructions from Ron and Lidia's email. Exhausted from our flight we were welcomed by the sound of surf and a gentle breeze in the palm trees outside of the windows... mind you, the bed is surrounded two sides by windows which makes for the most peaceful, restful, yet romantic sleep imaginable! Fair warning... this island has many, many roosters... you won't need an alarm clock some mornings if you know what I mean:)

In the morning, the view we woke up to was amazing! Its something you will just have to experience yourself! We unpacked and ventured off to the grocer in Kapaa where we bought the basics for the week. The kitchen at #A2 is so convenient to have for cooking breakfast, coffee, lunch, or the after dinner glass of wine on the lanai. We found ourselves saving quite a bit of money by cooking breakfast, brewing coffee, and packing lunches (cooler provided) for our daily adventures. This way we were able to afford more adventures, a spa day and a special dinner at the St. Regis located nearby.

As for adventure and sight seeing, we did it all! We traveled the whole island during our 9 days and we feel like we stayed on the best side of the island. Princeville and Hanalei Bay are possibly the quaintest, cutest villages on the planet. They have shopping, restaurants and the most beautiful scenery all around you. Also, nearby is horseback riding, golfing, surfing, zip lining, helicopter tours and snorkeling.

The condo complex is quiet and the condo is located at the far end so it is very secluded and private. There is a trail in front of the unit that leads down to the waterfront that is a nice short hike (be careful, it may be slippery.) There is also a very nice private beach to the left, but it can be a small adventure getting there if you are up for it! There is parking for your rental car and there is a pool for your use as well. We didn't use the pool but once only because of all the amazing beaches this island has to offer. The condo also has an in-unit jacuzzi tub which is so nice after a day of hiking. Ron and Lidia have provided just about everything you could need. This includes snorkeling gear, coolers, beach bags, mosquito coils, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and all kitchen gear. You only need a bathing suit and a map! Mind you... there is no night life on this island which was just fine with us! You can't go wrong with renting this condo!

This has to be one of the most romantic places in Kauai!

Left on 01/24/2011 for a stay in November 2010

What a breathtaking view from this condo! We enoyed the palm trees and waves that we could see night and day...as well as the sound of the pounding waves that we could hear! The condo is at the far end of the complex so there are no other buildings by the windows. We loved the decor and thought it was all very romantic! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This condo is very private in the back corner of the
Sea Lodge I complex. That also gives you a great
ocean view and a short hike to the secluded beach.
The place is updated with comfortable furnishings and
a full kitchen with everything you'll need if you
prefer to prepare some of our own meals. I'll stay
there again the next time I go to Kauai.

The condo is set on a beautiful bluff overlooking the
ocean, and has several windows providing a fabulous
view. The condo had everything we needed, including
an oven, microwave, stove, television, towels, beach
chairs and even snorkeling equipment. There is even
an on site laundromat, making it easy to wash our
clothing. The condo has a balcony overlooking the
bluff and the ocean providing a wonderful view of
both sunrise and sunset over the ocean. I would love
to return to the sea lodge resort condo. Thank you so
      much Ron and Lidia!!!

We had such a wonderful time at Sea Lodge in Princeville. The location was breathtaking--with great views of the water and a short walk to a beautiful little secret beach. The condo was perfect for us--beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed and a cute little outdoor bar. We really liked being in the Princeville area. We could not have imagined such a beautiful place, and we hope to go back in the future!

      Romantic Getaway!!

Left on 02/09/2010 for a stay in June 2009

My husband and I stayed at Sea Lodge Unit A2 for our anniversary (June 24 – July 1, 2009). We just absolutely fell in love with this condo. There is a gorgeous view from every one of the windows, cozy decor, marble floors, and a modern kitchen.

Our favorite part of the condo was the bedroom. The bed is situated in a corner with windows on both sides. We had a view of the ocean from our bed! At night we slept with the windows open and listened to the waves and felt the ocean breeze. It was very romantic and relaxing.

Another thing we liked about the condo was the kitchen. We found that eating out on the island was very expensive so we took advantage of the kitchen and made breakfast each morning and packed lunches for our day trips. The kitchen (like the rest of the condo) was very clean --- which is important to me!

The condo is in Princeville which is an upscale area of Kauai. We liked the location of this particular unit because it is tucked in the back corner which makes it more secluded. Right outside the unit is a bluff that overlooks the ocean. At night we would sit out on the park bench and watch the sunset or we would sit on the Lanai.

When we return to Kauai we would definitely stay at this condo again.
