The captivating views, visible from the moment you enter the front door, dominate every room and are expanded from the private lanai. Having been to Kauai, the island was no surprise. It is beautiful and breathtaking and never enough time to do all that you want.
However Gary made it even better with books in the room which made our stay even more enjoyable. We used the maps to navigate the island and for several of the hikes we went on. His advice on a restaurant Baracuda, for a 50th birthday celebration was outstanding. We were 2 minutes from the tennis courts and had the best lessons ever. The view from the lanai in both the living room and the bedroom is enough to take your breath away and the birds who joined us there every morning were as friendly as the people on the island. The beach was the best you could imagine with snorkeling off a reef just 10' from shore teeming with fish from every colour in the rainbow.
This stay was incredible value as we much prefer condo stays when traveling (as it feels more like home) and this was no exception!
We would stay there again if we visited this spectacular and most beautiful segment of the island. The pictures from the room are every bit what you get when you arrive -

My husband and I were looking for a place to vacation with our two children and in-laws. Being that we vacation to Hawaii 1-2 times a year we are always looking for somewhere that feels like home and a place that we would want to return to in the future.
We have found that place.
We rented the 3 room condo and it was amazing. The cleanliness, along with the convenience of the pool and a nice, short walk to the beach, and one of the most amazing things was the spectacular view, we fell in love with the place.
We highly recommend the beautiful condo and it was a pleasure to work with Gary Spitz.

We stayed 10 days in your beautiful vacation home. Loved the view,
fastastic waterfalls, the grounds were so well groomed. We went to the
pool everyday, and then took a walkt to the beach almost every day,
thanks for having all the amenities we needed, from coolers, towels,
chairs, and even snorkel gear. This was truly like a slice of heaven,
we will be back many times. Thank you so much for sharing your home and
thinking of everything we could have needed. -

Fabulous! Everything was as it should be "in paradise". Service is always great at the HBR. The condo felt like home, clean, comfortable & luxurious. !st class all the way, from the view to the people!!! Only one problem, our stay was too short!

My husband and I have stayed in several places on Kaua'i, but this place
is the best by far! Not only is the place well furnished, it is also
very clean, close to the pool and has fabulous views. We will tailor
our trips around when we'll be able to stay at the Spitz condo....it
made our most recent trip the best one yet!!
