We went to Kauai with great expectations. And surely, they were all met. On the top of the list is accomodation. Based on pics, Rick's place seems to be a nice place to stay in. When we got there, it was beyond our expectation. The unit is beautifully furnished with a large gourmet kitchen. It is located within a golf community. The views from the balcony and from the living room were fantastic. The location is perfect. It's close to the different tourist spots and wonderful beaches. The commercial center is next door. We saved a lot by just buying groceries and using the kitchen for our meals. Our family will definitely come back next. And hopefully we can stay at Rick's place again.

We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at this lovely condo in Princeville. I spent many grueling hours reading hundreds of reviews and checking out each available condo and complex in North Kauai. Finally, we chose Emmalani Court and this particular unit for our 2 week vacation. It was worth every minute of the pain staking process to find this gem!! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and truly appreciated all the little touches that made us feel so welcome and right at home. The condo was just as we had hoped it would be, having everything we could possibly need and more. This condo has been completely remodeled and meticulously maintained. It is absolutely beautifully decorated, very clean, well equipped, quite roomy and extremely comfortable!! The sofa, loveseat and large chair are soft and full, the kind you can just sink into. The beds are also very comfortable. We woke rested every morning!
It was the perfect location to explore many beaches including a very short drive to Hanalei Bay. We loved going to a different beach every day! It is very close to fantastic restaurants and a grocery store. The condo is just a few steps to the beautiful pool and BBQ area. It is also a few steps to the cliff to watch stunning sunsets.
The amenities were fabulous including beach chairs, towels, umbrella, coolers, and boogie boards. It has a beautiful lanai where we had breakfast every morning. The condo has new appliances, including a washer and dryer.
The owner was very helpful and responded promptly to all my questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Kauai. This condo unit is a wonderful home away from home. I highly recommend it for a fantastic time and hope that we return very soon!!

Our stay at Emmalani Court was absolutely magical. The unit is beautifully appointed, with high-end amenities and décor throughout. A broad span of windows looks out over the gorgeous 8th fairway of the Princeville golf course and off to the ocean.
This quiet court location is uniquely tucked away just steps from secret beaches and hidden coastal hikes. Little-known paths led to great snorkeling, beautiful hikes like the "Queens Bath”, or manicured walking trails throughout the area. Each evening, we strolled around the corner to watch the most beautiful sunsets over Hanalei bay, or to stop by the St. Regis for a cocktail.
If you like noisy pool bars and frenzied tourist activities, this is not your Hawaiian destination. However, for us, Kauai is the most beautiful and relaxing of the Hawaiian Islands, and is epitomized by the Princeville / Hanalei bay location.
We have rented vacation condominiums dozens of times, and would rank this unit at the very top of our experiences and an amazing value compared with other units we have chosen in the past. The owners have spared no expense in making this unit a beautiful and comfortable vacation retreat, and we hope to return again to re-live a wonderful stay.

Emmalani Court is one of our favorite condos in Princeville and this unit was great. The decor is nice (it's hard to tell from the pictures but the red furniture actually works), it has a pleasant ambiance, and there are several nice touches to make the place feel like home (well equipped kitchen, CD players, big TV, golf clubs and boogie boards etc).
The unit's location within Emmalani Court is good. We were wondering if road noise would be an issue from building 4 but it was not from this unit. Owner was great to deal with - very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again. -

This condo is great! We stayed for 2 weeks in June/July 2011. It was comfortable and was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We chose the North Shore so we could take advantage of all the beautiful beaches. What a treat! Also feel in love with Hanalei. We took a day trip to Waimea and another to the South Shore. Several days to the east side too.
We found this condo to be the perfect location for our adventures. The condo is comfortable and we loved the short walk to the cliff each evening for the amazing sunsets. Be sure to research all the great nearby beaches and enjoy a new one each day.
The owners are also a great source of information about the island, just ask! -

We loved, loved, loved the condo and its location on the North Shore. This spacious, light-filled and super quiet condo was well-appointed with a high standard in equipment and furnishings. The only minor thumbs-down for us was that the two twin beds were a little short for my two teenagers who are used to extra-long twin mattresses. Also, we initially struggled getting the TV to work despite the detailed instructions, but eventually figured it out :-) Overall, I would definitely recommend this condo.
