Asia House, sits on an ocean bluff in Princeville on the spectacular north shore of Kauai. Your ohana (studio) is a large suite with views of ocean and romantic Bali Hai. You'll love this quiet Kauai location across the street from the ocean and the famous "Queen's Bath" trail where turtles abound and whales lazily swim by. We are located close to world class golf, shopping, snorkeling, surfing, hiking, kayak, diving and helicopter tours. Private courtyard, pool, hot-tub, and private entrance. Outdoor living with your own deck, BBQ, ponds, gardens and fruit trees. Can accommodate additional guests or children. Please inquire.

We had a wonderful time here. A beautiful little place in a great location. Coral and Ian are very nice people and take great care of the place. After a day of play the hot tub was just the place to be. We will stay here again for sure.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom for a little over a week. The residence is overall very nice, however, our room was quite small and it was unfortunate that we did not have enough room in our fridge to buy many groceries, so we had to eat out most of the time. It was kind of awkward with the owners staying right below us, in fact, their window looked right up in to our room at our bed. We also didn't feel comfortable using the pool and hottub, as they were around frequently and had lots of people coming and going, which was confusing and awkward. Also, upon arrival, we had a hard time finding the place, and tried calling the owner with no response, so we had to figure out which place was ours and kind of felt like we were breaking and entering.
If you're looking for a cheap place and are going to be gone like we were most of the time, it is good, however, for those looking to relax in a nice home environment with all the accomodations for a few days, I would consider elsewhere. If you were renting the house itself, I think it would be a great setup.Response from Coral Miles - 03/21/2013

We are sorry our studio did not meet your needs, This complaint is unique to us in over two years of renting.
I provide both descriptions and pictures of all amenities such as the "mini fridge". I could have provided more space had I realized a problem.
We try to be in residence awaiting a guest arrival but it does help to give us an arrival time and update if you are going to be earlier or later. I also always provide a link with map and directions. This was also a unique complaint.
It is true my "office window" faces the upper story deck of the room but there is a full privacy curtain available for the windows. One of the most frequent remarks is the amazing quiet of our residence.
We appreciate your comments and will act to respond and improve our vacation ohana in the future. -

We enjoyed a 6 day stay at asia house in early March 2013. We loved the location and the amenities. Hottub at night with a wonderful view of the stars. This is not a ground level apartment so be prepared for a few stairs. We ate several meals in with the help of the local supermarket(2 miles away). The Princeville shoppping center gave us a couple evenings(Saturday and Wednesday) free entertainment featuring a local musical talent(Madison). We also made daily use of beach chairs and swim gear- fins, mask etc. I guess you can pack light because the extras have been provided.

My wife and I spent 8 nights at the asia house in January. Very affordable and worth the price we paid. Coral and Ian the owners were very nice, and gave us plenty of space to enjoy the Hot-Tub and Pool on our own.This is a studio apartment attached to their main house, but has a private entry. Nice Patio and balcony, and a ocean view over the top of the houses across the street. Kitchen is small and basic, but served our needs. Very Clean. The area is quiet and very safe, but you need a car to get to any of the nearby beaches. The "Queens bath" is right across the street but only suitable for swimming during very calm seas. You can walk about two blocks and have a great spot to watch for whales in the winter. I would recommend this unit to any couple on a limited budget. Coral is always glad to recommend tours and sights, and got me a great deal on a sport-fishing trip.

My family and I stayed here we all loved the place. The home was very clean, great location. We went to queens bath (that's a must) spent a few hours there. Coral was wonderful!!! Looking forward to go back someday

My fiancé and I stayed here for a week and fell in love with the place. Great environment, friendly people and amazing views. The owners were very nice and accommodating people. I would definitely recommend staying here and we plan on staying here again next year. Thanks for everything!

I stayed at the asia House for 5 nights and I was very happy with everything! The house was set up beautifully. There was a beautiful swimming pool with a small waterfall flowing into it, and a great hot tub in a nice garden setting. I definitely recommend staying here!
