We stayed at Ken and Sophie's villa in august 2010 and found the amenities to be first rate. They truly care for the property as their own home. It is incredibly light and spacious: our family of 5 had all the space we could ask for and the 3 bathrooms were a real luxury. The property is located in a gated area in the middle of Princeville, home to a world class golf course. It is also 10 minutes away from one of our favorite spots on Kauai, the town of Hanalei. We absolutely recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy the comforts of home in Paradise.

This was one memorable vacation place because we enjoyed our own--private bedroom, balcony, walk-in closet, dressers, TV, spa-like shower, kitchen, laundry amenities everyday...as if we were home, only everything was refreshingly clean already! The views were breath-taking and access to nearby shops were close enough to enjoy within 15 min. I recall the friendly lizard (Gecko)outside the balcony railing that wanted in on our breakfast. The tall trees and mountains that surrounded our Princeville Palace just beckoned us out every morning for a brisk walk. High ceilings and brightly lit interiors were refined as the ceilings and decor micmicked the outdoor bamboos and natural beauty. This uniquely gorgeous house was our home away from its demands as it was hightech with low-maintenance.
The coffee table had easy-cleaning glasstop, the cushions were refinely plush, and cool tiles consistently warm. Most importantly, the layout of the private areas are truly the amazing part...we could not hear the sounds of laundry nor friends in the same home because all the bedrooms were positioned distinctively. I cannot wait to go back! -

We loved the villa immediately. It was clean, well lighted, spacious nicely decorated and had a beautiful basket filled with a variety of fruit on the kitchen counter. We had stopped Wallmart on our way from the airport for groceries as it was our plan to eat breakfast and pack lunches during the week of our stay. The kitchen was nice and if we had wanted we could have cooked all our meals there. There was a group area close by where we could have bbq our meals. Our two teens, 19 and 17 each had their own room. My husband and I liked that our room was downstairs and removed from the rest of the house. It was spacious, had it's own patio, large bathroom and closet. There was also a washer and dryer which came in handy during the week. Though there was not much time for TV watching or reading the TV was a nice size with a variety of Dvd's and there was a nice choice of books to read.
My husband and son enjoyed golfing at the Prince Golf Course, we all enjoyed snorkeling at several of the nearby beaches. The kids went horseback riding one morning. We all enjoyed a lu'au at the Princeville Hotel. The sunset that night was spectacular. We took a day trip to Waimea Canyon. Well worth the time and drive.
It is hard to say what we liked best. It is a beautiful area with so much to do. Our only complaint is that we would have liked to have stayed longer!
