The new Plantations is centrally located 1 mile inside of Princeville. It is also located 1 mile to the beach and shopping center (grocery store, shops and restaurants, bank, and library). Princeville is just 2 miles from Hanalei Bay, where Hanalei is noted to have one the the best beaches worldwide. They also have lots of other shops and restaurants to enjoy. This is amoung the nicest condo we have ever rented. Located in one of Princeville's newer complexes, it has a great pool area with hot tub & BBQ grill. There is also a workout room with a few new machines that is very nice. The Makai Golf Course Clubhouse is a one minute drive away for the golfers. The St Regis Hotel as well as the shops and restraunts in Princeville are all within a 3 minutes drive. The condo is a lower unit with a covered outdoor patio that we enjoyed relaxing on. The Main TV in the living room has free Net Flicks Movies on Demand, and there is a Red Box movie rental kiosk at the Foodland Market. There were also a few Dvd's at the condo and a DVD player in Living Room and the 2nd bedroom that was great for the kids. We love Princeville and all the great nearby beaches & places to go. We highly recommend staying here. Thanks Kelly for making our stay a great one!

My wife and I were very satisfied with this home. Great location near Hanalei Bay (my favorite place on earth). The house was very clean and comfortable. The owners have gone the extra mile to help visitors feel welcome by providing beach towels, toys, chairs, and coolers. They also had games and movies available to watch, in addition to a Netflix account. Rooms were big and beds were comfortable. Only bummer was the lack of a grill. There was no grill at the home. There may have been one on the Plantation property that we did not know about.

They are located at the pool (two of them) and we have the information on the Guest Info Sheet on the counter when you check in. Most of the condos in the area do not allow grills at the individual condos and have them centrally located to the condos. I hope you enjoyed your time and hope to hear from you again next time you visit Kauai!

My husband and I were in Hawaii for our honeymoon. This condo was the perfect place for it! The condo is situated on absolutely gorgeous grounds, with lots of space to walk around and take in the water and mountain views. It is in Princeville, on the North side of the island (and in my opinion, the most beautiful!) There is a grocery store a very short distance away, where we stocked up on groceries at the beginning of the week. Having a wonderful kitchen to cook in saved us so much money. In addition to a beautiful kitchen, there are two lovely rooms, each with their own bathroom, an outside patio, a living room with a TV, DVD player, Dvds, a pool, hot tub, and grill. The area was always very quiet and peaceful---this is definitely not a party place! In addition, we did not have to rent or buy snorkel equipment, body boards, coolers, etc. because they were all provided.
Working with Kelley was a pleasure. She was always polite, kind, and answered any questions we had extremely quickly. Patty, the housekeeper and our contact in Hawaii, was more than willing to answer the questions we had in Hawaii regarding the condo.
Both my husband I would recommend this condo to anyone. For the low price, it includes so much.

I took my parents for a week get away and we had such a wonderful time! Kelley, the owner, is wonderful at providing all of the details of the rental and better yet - she even sent me a "welcome package". Her condo is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The pricing is such a steal! Great rental for a family as well. I will definitely rent from her again. A+++

We have just returned home after our stay on the North Shore of Kauai and in this wonderful condo. This condo is everything as described and more. It is very well located in Princeville and it is extremely clean and nicely decorated. The pool nearby is so inviting and the kids loved playing there after our adventures on the island each day. The grounds are nicely landscaped and very well kept. This is a nice, quiet condo community and I would very much recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place to stay while vacationing on Kauai.
The owner, Kelley, is so wonderful to work with. She was flexible and very responsive.
Kelley, thank you so much for opening your condo to us for our getaway, we had such an amazing vacation. We can't wait to come back!

Our two week stay at The Plantation - Condo #1151 was excellent!
The owners made the reservation process & stay a breeze.
This unit looks exactly like the photos that are posted on this site.
Both the unit & property was well maintained, up-to-date, very private, quiet & it was super convenient!
The living, dining & kitchen area was comfy& spacious with plenty of seating. It had 9 ft. ceilings thru-out & is surrounded by 3 large sliding glass doors & a large window that all face the corner lanai & nicely landscaped yard with lots of birds to watch. We did see rainbows from here daily!
Both TV’s in the livingroom & master suite were brand new & the Wi-Fi worked great.
The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed for prep, they even provided basic spices.
The ice maker always made enough ice to fill 2 beach coolers daily.
The stacked washer/dryer was located in a little closet right next to the walk-in pantry.
Some laundry detergent, zip lock baggies & cleaning supplies were provided.
We loved being able to pull our car directly into the garage. It was super handy for loading/unloading our car & we literally walked right into the unit.
There were a few beach backpack chairs, boogie board, coolers, floaters, snorkels etc. left in the garage for us to use. They also provided 8 beach towels in the well stocked linen closet in the hallway.
Both bedrooms & bath were spacious, airy & had plenty of storage.
The queen size mattresses & linens in both bedrooms were comfortable; there were lots of extra bed pillows & extra blankets.
The air conditioning works great throughout the unit. However, there is not an aC vent in the second bedroom, just a ceiling fan and a small bedside fan.
The workout room was well appointed with both machines & free weights.
The pool/hot tub were small but nice and it was probably about 200 ft. walk from the condo.
I would rate this condo a 9.5 out of 10 only because it does show very miner wear which is to be expected with vacationers constantly moving in and out…..
This was our 7th trip to Kauai and over the years we have stayed at all of the big 5 star resorts & several condos all around Kauai. We will most definitely recommend this condo to friends & family & we look forward to staying here again!Response from Kelley Lee - 11/02/2012

Beautifully and comfortably furnished, 2 BR lower level condo. Very clean. Many thoughtful touches such as starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, liquid soap, Kleenex, dish washing liquid. Be aware, there are no separate shower stalls - showers are in the tub. The master garden tub in particular has a very large step up into tub. Across the street from lovely kidney shaped community pool with chaise lounges and tables. Cool waterfall into the pool. There is a hot tub that was closed while we visited, but the pool is open until 10 pm. The best part is all the beach equipment supplied by the owners- chairs, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, cooler. Owners are very pleasant and responsive - would book this condo again in a minute!!

I rented this condo for my daughter and her family as a large group of us were staying in Princeville for our wedding! The unit was so immaculate! It was better than the pictures posted on the website! The property was clean and well maintained. The location was superb! Close to beaches, restaurants, grocery stores and shopping! It also had a/C which was really nice, as most properties in Princeville do not. It was especially nice to work directly with the owners in lieu of property managers. Kelley is so friendly and helped my daughter with rental arrangments for a crib and high chair. We would definitely recommend this property to everyone and will most definitely staying there again!

Visited for a month and my family and friends had the time of their lives. The people were very friendly and welcoming. There is an abundance of activities to do from swimming to hiking to golfing etc.
The condo was fabulous everything at your fingertips. Very clean and beautiful grounds. I am planning my next trip. -

Very nice Condo on the North shore. Well worth the money. I highly recommend staying here as it is nice to have access to a washer/ dryer when you are at the beach, wich most hotels do not have.

We were looking for an accessible, relaxing place to stay in Kauai where we could base our daily activities from and also have some of the comforts of home. The Plantation in Princeville is part of a quiet residential neighborhood that is walkable distance to amazing sites such as Queen's Bath and a 10 minute drive over to Hanalei and the beaches. After driving around Kauai to see all the incredible spots including Polihale Beach, Waimea Canyon, boat ride on the Na'Pali coast, it is wonderful to come back to such a comfortable home and relax until the next day's adventure. We had no complaints in this home--with a supermarket up the road we made our own meals, the rooms are large with comfortable beds--everything we needed, even to spend a day at the beach was available. Our hosts thought of everything. This is a great deal. We would return in a heartbeat.

The Princeville Plantation apartment is amazing!
Here's why:
very clean and very spacious, enough space for a family.
2 bedrooms
2 bathrooms
Garage for your car
The owners provide everything you could possibly ask for: snorkeling equipment, beach equipment, kitchen utensils, knife set, blender, laundry, beach towels, additional blankets, high tec kitchen, massive washrooms with bath tub, etc
The location is awesome: very quiet and safe at night but close to restaurants, beaches, hiking trails, etc
Fans and air-conditioning if needed.
After a few hours we felt right at home in Kelley's apartment. It has the feel of an expensive 5 star hotel.
Lastly, Kelley Lee is the best. She will send you sweets and a full book on Kauai (!) along with the driving directions in a care package in the mail. Upon your arrival, you will find a booklet with activities, restaurants and beaches recommended by Kelley.
We have rented a lot of vacation rentals but this one truly amazing and one of the best rentals we ever had. We would highly recommend Princeville Plantation!Response from Kelley Lee - 07/06/2012

Our family of 7 and my mother-in-law stayed at this condo for 12 days in april/May. It was such a great spot for our family. We enjoyed the furnishings, location, tons of beach equipment in the garage, beach towels, books, etc. The pool was a hit with our children, and we enjoyed that multiple times during our stay at the condo. Thank you, Kelley, for being so easy to work with and for such a great price on your condo! It made our stay so enjoyable to come back to a homey place with air conditioning! We would definitely return again.

This place is wonderful. Very spacious, very comfortable, very clean.
5 minutes from the Grocery Store, Post Office, Restaurants. Has a pool a few steps away. A great exercise room. 10-15 minute drive to the beach. We enjoyed staying here. It has the feeling of home. Would definitely return and/or recommend this place to my friends and family. -

My boyfriend and I stayed at this condo for 4 nights, and really enjoyed it. It was perfect for two, but was certainly spacious enough for two couples or a family. It was clean, modern and very comfortable. There is plenty of street parking, plus a garage, which was very convenient. A grocery store, bank, etc. is just a short drive away, as are numerous gorgeous beaches. The owner, Kelley, was incredibly helpful and organized. I would definitely stay here again, or recommend this spot to friends or family visiting Kauai without hesitation.

We stayed at the Plantations for 4 nights and were extremely pleased with the quality of the accommodation and the amenities offered.
The owners have taken very good care of the place and everything is in new condition. The fully equipped kitchen came in very handy for making meals.
As a bonus, the owners provide boogie boards, snorkel equipment etc.
Princeville is a great place to stay and is conveniently located near the touristy sights. There's a big grocery store right outside the Plantations.
In short, we are glad we chose this place over a hotel. The owners are very nice and helpful. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

We have stayed all over the islands, and this is one of our favorite hideaways. The property is exceptionally clean, tastefully furnished, and in a nice area ... not too far from the tourist destinations, but far enough away you feel like you're on your own.
The complex is very hospitable with a beautiful pool and is close to conveniences as well.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Thanks! -

I had the chance to spend a month at Kelley's place last January and really enjoyed it. The owner's are very responsive and easy to deal with doing a great job making sure you are comfortable.
The condo is new and the Plantation development is one of the nicest in all of Princeville, with a beautiful pool, fitness room and manicured grounds. You are less than 1/4 mile walk to Sea Lodge beach or 3/4 to hideaways, my favorite beach.
Even though you are not right on the ocean, it is worth it as it is a new condo and not old like the ones on the beach.
