D3 at Sealodge is located in the building closest to the corner edge of the bluff so you get both ocean and inlet views. With no buildings in site, it feels like you are on the edge of the bluff all by yourself. Enjoy panoramic views of whitewater waves, Kileauea lighthouse, Anini Beach and Humpback whales on their winter migration. Especially popular with honeymooners, this prime first floor end unit has 180 degree views from all windows (living, dining, lanai and bedroom). At night get lulled to sleep b...y the crashing waves below and in the morning enjoy spectacular sunrises and the Layton Albatross as they glide along the thermal winds from the bluff. The balmy tradewinds and the smell of plumeria and blooming flowers is the beginning of beautiful memories in paradise.

Recent $30,000 remodel. Upgrade includes all kitchen cupboards, counter and appliances including new full-sized washer and dryer. A new 42 inch LCD flat screen TV with a HD cable in the living room provides an amazing picture plus the DVR allows you to record shows and movies to watch later. New tile in entry, kitchen and bath, all window coverings, modern couch and loveseat with large accent rug and new chairs in the alcove. In 2012 bought king Beautyrest pillow top mattress, lanai furniture, 27' LCD for the bedroom, coffee table, dining chairs, pots & pans, all bedding & pillows, glasses, towels, etc. Time Warner wireless high speed internet plus digital phone for free local and long distance calls. Kitchen also includes blender, mixer, electric juicer, mini food processor, tea kettle plus spices, various sugars, coffee filters, various oils and salt & pepper. Also provided is paper towels, laundry soap, bar soap and shampoo. For indoor activities there are books, games, DVD, VCR, CD player and binoculars for Humpback whales passing by or turtles swimming near the reef. For outdoor activities, there are beach chairs, towels, mats, cooler, beach umbrella and various snorkeling gear.

Enjoy the upscale resort area of Princeville with its two Championship golf courses, miles of foot paths, restaurants and shopping including a large Foodland. Sealodge has a prime location at the end of Kamehameha road with plenty of free parking. Eat at numerous nearby restaurants or fix a meal in the fully equipped kitchen in your condo. Sealodge promises pure relaxation and comfort.

Kauai's dramatic North Shore is an enchanting setting full of rugged mountains, heavenly beaches and spectacular sea cliffs. You'll be amazed at how much beauty can be found in just one area of Kauai. A number of spectacular beaches are nearby including Hideaways, Anini, Hanalei Bay, Ke'e, Secret Beach and Tunnels where the snorkeling is amazing.

For adventure take a helicopter ride from the Princeville airport and see where many movies have been shot including Jurassic Park and Pirates of the Caribbean. At Princeville Ranch take a horseback ride to beautiful waterfalls. Other North Shore activities include kayaking, ziplining, hiking and you can also learn about native plants and see scenic views at Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens or at the 17-acre Lumahuli Gardens, part of the National Tropical Botanical Garden.

  We have stayed in the Sealodge area over the last 6 years. Our favorite condo is D3. We stayed there in 2012, 2013 and have already made reservations for 2014.
  
  The view is so spectacular because this is a first floor unit with no railing. From the lanai and windows you see a vast expanse of ocean with the coral reef below. The view includes the Kilauea Lighthouse National Bird Refuge. Often the albatross soar near the lanai and windows. From this vantage point we have seen over 100 whale sightings, nene, and frigate birds.
  
  The condo is convenient for visiting our two favorite beaches anini and Hanalei. It is also near the hiking/biking Ke ala Hele Makalae Park in Kapaa and great for visiting the beaches along the scenic north coast.
  
  We are pleased that many fresh towels are available, we have the use of a DVR and HD TV and a full size washer and dryer. The unit is kept very clean. The neighbors have been very friendly.

  We were thrilled with our accommodations at the Sealodge. This unit has to be the best in the complex. It is situated at the edge of the complex with wall to wall ocean views. The price is incredible for such a great ocean front unit. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer.

  Sealodge D-3 is a romantic getaway with a breath taking view!

  My wife and I loved this one bedroom condo on the ocean edge of the Sealodge I development, with a world class 270 degree view of the pacific and east coast of Kauai from every window, 200 feet above the ocean.
  
  Since the unit is on the main floor, we had our own manicured grass hillside as our back yard to stretch out and relax on, just outside our patio door over looking the pacific. The sunrise every morning was directly out our windows (see pictures from the unit).
  
  It was fully equipped with everything needed and a short drive to the Princeville Center shopping area, which boasts boutique shops, supermarket and restaurants, for when we didn't feel like driving.
  
  Although, we were in Kauai staying at this condo for only 7 days, and the weather was beautiful, we often bought poke at the Dolphin Restaurant market in Hanelai, or Foodland in Princeville Center and just relaxed in the condo or on the patio or the hillside and enjoyed the view and fresh air. It was like we had the whole ocean to ourselves.
  
  The condo was conveniently located off Kuhio Highway (56) which gives you easy access to the whole island. We could go a short distance north to Hanelai or south to the beaches on the East Side. Better yet, there was Sealodge Beach, the great snorkeling beach a short walk from the condo.
  
  We had a wonderful time on the island and we would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a wonderful place to stay while visiting this garden paradise.

  My husband and I went to Kauai for our 20th anniversary and had an absolutely wonderful time. Kauai is an amazing place, the condo was a dream and the view is incredible. We were able to catch a couple sunrises which were stunning. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning on the private lanai just enjoying the view and the sound of the ocean. We should have stayed there longer and not left for the other half of our stay at the Grand Hyatt.
  
  We liked being on the ground floor as we were so close to the edge of the bluff, the waves, the birds, and all the scenery. Since no other condos are in view, it's so peaceful and tranquil that you can't help but relax and unwind.
  
  The location is fantastic, close to Hanalei and Princeville Shopping Center with lots of wonderful restaurants, farmer's market, shopping, beaches etc. and the condo was very clean and modern. It was really a pleasure to stay there and I do mean that because I have traveled all over and stayed at many places. It is on the top of our list now and we have even recommended it to our family and friends.

  I'm always so happy to hear that someone enjoyed the condo and appreciates that amazing view. I have also traveled all over the world but have found few places or views to compare to this. I wish everybody could stay there at least once and experience the beauty of Kauai and the peace and tranquility of the condo. For me it's truly magical.
