Additional Location Information
Hanalei Bay Resort's 22 acres of lush grounds, pools, and waterfalls could be confused for Eden. Almost everywhere you turn in this paradise there are stunning views of thousand-foot tall waterfalls set against the green mountains, or magnificent panoramas of Hanalei Bay and the blue Pacific. Watch the sun set behind Bali Hai mountain of South Pacific fame.
Hanalei Bay Resort Swimming Pool Rated One of Ten Best by Fodor's:
"This pool is one of the best on Kauai, with authentic lava-rock waterfalls, an open-air hot tub, and a kid-friendly sand 'beach.' But what really sets it apart is the stunning view of Hanalei Bay and the Napali Coast: the architects used this setting to great effect, by building the resort angling down the cliffs, with the pool as the crown jewel."
Two world class golf courses await you nearby in Princeville. A half-hour drive to the end of the road takes you to Ke'e Beach where snorkelers can mingle with multi-colored fish and Green Turtles. Hikers revel in the sights, sounds, and smells of the rain forest, and marvel at the incredible coastal and mountain views of the rugged Napali Coast Trail which winds its way along the cliffs above the azure Pacific.

This place was amazing. My husband and I after 7 1/2 years of marriage finally de iced to take our honeymoon. We were originally supposed to go to CostaRica but after passport trouble decided to travel Hawaii instead . This place was amazing and beyond my expectations. After staying here for 7 days without our two boys were immediately decided to bring them back hopefully to the same spot. Thank you so much to the owners who have done a fantastic job and our every need was met. We will be back again within the year

My wife and I rented a condo at the Hanalei Bay Resort from John and Susan for our honeymoon. They made the application and payment process very straightforward and the service we received from them regarding the unit as well as the Hanalei Bay area was excellent. Our stay was unforgettable.
The condo was perfect: well stocked, comfortable, quiet, and clean. We are both graduate students and it was great to be in a place that felt like a real romantic getaway. We really enjoyed the patio and the convenience of being in the resort with access to the local beaches. The resort staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.
The location of the resort is unbeatable. Although we did venture around the island on a daily basis, we considered staying at the condo for full days at a time because it was so relaxing. We will definitely be back for our next trip to Kauai. -

We stayed on the 1105 side, with the kitchen and living room. This unit is very nice and very convenient. It's near the front of the property. Out back is a large, green open area with a tremendous view of the mountains. And right beyond the open area is the world famous Hanalei Bay Resort hot tub and lagoon style pool. I don't think there's really a closer condo to the hot tub. Each morning, several varieties of birds, including Geese (I think), were out and about in the open area. It was very nice just sitting on the patio taking in the views and also watching the birds. Also, the condo is close to the washer and dryer room, an unexpected convenience that allowed us to wash our wet and sandy clothes each night. Inside, there's a small kitchen, refrigerator and everything you need to eat with, including utensils, plates, bowls, cooking trays and more. The bathroom is large, and the toilet and bathtub/shower are separate (by a door) allowing more than one person to use the bathroom facilities. There were plenty of towels too. Plus there's a closet with several convenient things you may want to use. We used the ice chest almost every day. The 1105 side of the condo has the living room area, but it has a pull down bed (from the wall) and a sofa that folds out to a bed. Both the pull down and sofa bed were comfortable. Overall, I'm planning to stay in this unit again on my next visit to Kauai.
