Beautiful Comfortable Home
Left on 05/10/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Our family of 8 adults, stayed in this beautifully appointed, comfortable home for a week. Very comfortable beds, with classy linens, and lots of towels. We travelled to Kauai to attend a family wedding at the St. Regis. Close to many beaches, some within walking distance. Car rental is a must, as there is so much to explore on the island. Conveniently has 4 bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkelling gear. Beautiful lanai, with views of the ocean and golf course. Our favourite activities were exploring Hanalei, Kuaui Skydiving, Luau Kalamaku and driving to the Wiamea Canyon. Loved the beaches, especially Tunnel Beach and the huge beaches on the south shore, where locals drive onto, and fish. Added bonus was the early morning wake up calls, courtesy of the roosters and many birds! :-)

San FranciscoGreat place but time to replace a few things
Left on 06/21/2012 for a stay in June 2012
The house was overall terrific. We have no major complaints at all. I did not give 5 stars because several items in the house were in need of replacement and we were in some cases assured that things were in good order. Here's my list:
Most of the snorkel gear was broken or had pieces missing. We were able to cobble together only one set that didn't leak or wasn't missing parts.
The kitchen needs the knives sharpened or replaced. Most were unusable even after using the steel on them. Also, several of the cutting boards were disgusting with signs of mildew.
The carpet had many many stains on it. We were told that it had recently been cleaned, but a prior tenant ruined it. In any event, the carpet needs attention.
The upstairs master bedroom window blind on the south east side had extensive mold growing on it.
The bicycles could all use a tune up. My son crashed when his chain fell off. Helmets would be a nice addition too.
Lastly, the toilet brush in the upstairs master bath was broken and unusable.
The service provided by Caldwell was great. Beach towels were missing and they bought more right away.
Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback. -

The house was very spacious and beautiful. It comes with all the necessities that made our stay very enjoyable. The house had a nice view from the balcony overlooking the golf course and ocean. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet.

Tempe, AZWonderful house and location
Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We stayed here for two weeks in late July into early august, 2011. We loved the fact that there was a door code so we didn't have to worry about keys (especially when going down to the beach!). The beds were all very comfortable and the rooms were nicely appointed. We had breakfast and dinner at home almost every night and the kitchen had most things that we needed or we made do (e.g. used knife as no vegetable peeler). The wireless internet was a requirement of ours and it worked great throughout the house. We did have two issues come up when staying at the house and the rental agency fixed the issues right away - very responsive!
Our favorite thing about the place is the location. We love Princeville and we love this area of Princeville as we like walking down to Queen Emma's Bath. We made use of the bikes (there were 4 bikes and 2 bike locks) to bike around Princeville and easily got to Hideaways beach. Our favorite (and unexpected) part of the trip was sitting on the deck at night eating dinner. From the deck, you could see the ocean and watch the sunset. Our family had a great time here.
