We've been to Kauai 4 times renting homes 3 times out of four around Princeville. We prefer space for the entire family and prefer cooking out own meals going out only occasionally. This home has great quiet location, very spacious. Grocery store is 5 minutes drive away, there is nice kids playground at the entrance to Princeville where little ones can enjoy swings, climbing and such. Pricing was also reasonable. In a couple of years we might be back!
Great for romantic getaways too, sunsets on Kauai are hard to beat - although you may not need 3 bedrooms yet :-) -

The house was amazing and it was very close to many wonderful attractions. The queens bath is right down the road and tunnels beach is just a little ways north. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back.

Our stay at Kauai Vacation Rental Home in Princeville, was one of the best decisions in terms of a place to stay and relax. While we have been to Kauai before, we had always stayed at the resorts and hotels. This time we wanted a place that would keep our big family all together. The house was kept in excellent condition, full of amenities and entertainment. It comfortably slept 6 people, and with the addition of the air mattress, an additional 2 people. There was a small private beach just a 15-minute walk from the house, and easy access to the local stores. The owners were amazingly responsive and friendly. All in all, we would be glad to stay here again.

You're minutes from the best beach in Kauai.
There's a shopping center around the corner with a grocery store and fantastic ice cream.
You're within 10 minutes from a number of delicious restaurants.
Princeville adventure park is around the corner for ziplining, kayaking, and hiking.
Only negatives (which aren't necessarily negatives for others) are no a/C (ceiling fans did the job but it was a little stuffy) and somewhat unreliable internet (which Liz was very timely in addressing).
It was clean, quiet, cozy, close to anything you could need with everything needed for a comfortable stay (high chair, crib, towels, beach toys, outdoor shower and super comfortable beds!)
We would definitely go back. Thanks, Liz! -

Everything about the house was great. However, I paid for and asked for a late checkout because our flight was a very late flight on departure day. I called two days ahead to confirm that arrangement and was told we were good until 10 the next day. We had two in our party who didn't fly out until the next day and it created a huge uncomfortable, inconvienient situation and rush rush on our last day. That was very disappointing.

Owner
Hi Susan...so sorry for the mix up, I can understand that it made for a rushed end to your visit. We were just transferring over from my last manager to handling all of the management on my own. I think Linda didn't remember I had another guest checking in on that day!
Sorry again for the inconvenience, if you ever plan on returning to Kauai I would love to offer a break on rates to make up to you...Liz -

This place was fantastic. It is very clean, updated, has a great floorplan, and an amazing view of the mountains from the back patio.
It is spacious enough to utilize all three bedrooms and have plenty of room for everyone, though we only needed the master bedroom.
Great location: walking distance to a nice beach if you hike, and to Queen's Bath (a natural swimming spot - read about it and be sure to take it in). A short 5 - 10 minute drive to plenty of other beaches; golf course, grocery store and Hanalei Beach. We shopped at the grocery store and made ourselves right at home cooking on the grill and stove most nights.
Friendly neighbors who love Hawaii and are helpful with advice if wanted.
House is in a cul de sac - totally peaceful and quiet. A couple of bicycles in the garage - hope they were meant for us to use!!
Advice - rent this house and a convertible for the drive up to Waimea Canyon!!! And pack light - the weather in October was mid 80s every day.
We couldn't have been more pleased with this house and we will be back!! -

Newbury Park, CAA fabulous tropical vacation.
Left on 04/27/2011 for a stay in April 2011
8 of us traveled to Kauai for a tropical vacation and though we had our reservations about renting a house sight unseen we were pleasantly surprised that the pictures of this property were so well representative of what we walked into. The accomodations more than met our expectations.
We really appreicated the responsiveness of the owner to our multiple questions prior to arriving and even while we were there. The book of activities, procedures and recommended sights was highly useful as was the fact that there were so mnay amenities available to us in the house. The check-in and out procedures were simple and easy to follow and made our arrival and departure fairly seamless.
We would most definitely stay here again and recommend this property to anyone who was looking for accomodations in Kauai. -

Here last year, and the property has not changed from the great place we first enjoyed. Easy to access, trouble-free reservation and payment processes. Private, quiet, great amenities such as beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board available for use. Two video players allowed our teenage daughter to watch a movie she preferred while we watched another. All around great stay, highly recommend.

Very comfortable home in beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Open floor plan, spacious kitchen and nice outside eating area. Ideal for 4-6 adults. Short driving distance to grocery store, library, post office and the laid back small town of Hanalei and beautiful Hanalei Bay. Very lush vegetation, perfect temperature but be prepared for some rainy days.

Left on 04/02/2010 for a stay in March 2010
Beautiful home, convenient location, very clean and updated. Really like having WiFi access with no problems. Being able to use the towels and beach chairs provided saved us from bringing/purchasing our own. Princeville shopping close with grocery and reasonable restaurants available. Close to town of Hanalei with great atmosphere and beaches. Only missed having propane in the outdoor BBQ; otherwise, not a single complaint. You'll be happy if you stay here.

Our stay in Kauai was absolutely amazing. The best beaches, hiking, snorkeling, And
most picturesque in the world. We were able to enjoy this paradise by staying at liz's
Kauai rental, the home is extremely comfortable, very homey feel. It is located in the
best neighborhood on the island, and the most beautiful part of the island. Attractions
are very close by, some even walking distance. This is the only home I will rent on the
island. -

Great place to stay. Lots of room. Great beaches in walking distance. Along with great hiking. This house has everything for a day in the sun, snorkeling gear, bikes, beach chairs and lots of towels. I really enjoyed just staying at the house and going for walks in the area. A great view of the mountains from the back porch. I can not wait to go back.
