North RichmondGreat Place to relax
Left on 03/09/2013 for a stay in July 2006
this is an old review, back to 2006, but thought i would add it anyway.
We were two couples and all thought this house was the highlight of the trip. The house is large and spacious with great kitchen, large inviting bedrooms and a ensuite we still talk about now.
If your looking for an affordable golf frontage house in Princeville we would more than recommend Moana Villa and are hoping to return in 2014. -

San Francisco, CA, United StatesSpacious but noisy
Left on 05/06/2012 for a stay in May 2012
Nice place. Breezy, spacious. Two of us stayed in the master bedroom which had a massive bathroom and walk-in shower. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped compared to other places and even had some sharp knives (yay for foodies!).
But be warned, this place is situated right on the golf fairway and they start maintenance early every morning. And everyone loves leaf blowers here. So not good for anyone who wants to sleep in.
We wished that there were larger sofas in the living room to hang out when the weather isn't good.
They really needed to keep on top of the spider situation - the eaves were inundated with dozens of them and this marred the view of the beautiful mountains. (Thus one star off on cleanliness for this.)
Nowhere nice to hang out outside that isn't screened in. The downstairs open lanai is blazing hot without comfy chairs and the views are blocked by large shrubbery. (Again with the spiders...) -

The place was beautiful and comfortable but way too much very early and very late traffic on street. Hope everything is OK with Cyrila's husband.

It was a great house to stay in! We all loved it & will definately use it in the future if available. The only thing we suggest was having a cooler. The house was very clean and had a great view of the golf course. Thanks for the great week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moana Villa and highly recommend it! The home is tastefully furnished, the kitchen well-equipped, and the location is ideal: close to shopping yet situated on a quiet road with the wonderfully landscaped yard opening to the green fairways of the golf course. The bedrooms are located on the ground floor and the living area is on the second floor. All the rooms are light and airy - we never needed the air conditioning - and screens on louvered windows and around the patios kept us mosquito-free. The home is so well-designed and comfortable, you'll feel right at home.

Boerne, TXA perfect N. Shore Family Retreat
Left on 01/07/2010 for a stay in January 2010
We stayed 11 nights (family of 5) and then moved to the S. Shore, but we all wish we had stayed our entire 2 weeks on the N. Shore/Moana Villa. It was very quiet (could hear the ocean),exceptionally well furnished, and all features are upscale. Everything worked pretty much perfectly. We grilled outside on the gas grill often and walked every morning on the wonderful walking/jogging path in Princeville. We felt more like we were living in our own home vs. a 'vacation rental'. We highly recommend this property.

Oetwill, , SwitzerlandA perfect place - a wonderful vacation home!
Left on 01/09/2009 for a stay in January 2009
We spend 4 wonderful weeks in the most comfortable Moana Villa. Thanks to the fully screened in lanai we enjoyed many evenings without the otherwise unavoidable harrassment from mosquitos :-)
Just two minor suggestions: the light on the lanai needs to be fixed. And: the two bicycles need some maintenance (especially the gears!). -

What a wonderful home! My wife and I and our two young boys stayed a short 5 nights in the Moana Villa. What an experience! The boys LOVED having their own rooms and we were able to have our space too. It was so nice to grill out every night in the beautiful setting sun. Having all the beach toys also was great - we didn't have to buy or rent a thing!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kauai. The house was lovely but there were a few things I did'nt like. There were not enough large pots in the kitchen when trying to cook for a large family. The Bar B Que on the upper deck had no propane and was grossly dirty. I felt like the house was getting Quite dusty and grimmy by the end of the week and I probably should of had the house cleaning service come a couple of times. I was on vacation and did'nt really want to mop floors and dust and vacunm, But it needed it the end of the week. We met the owner of the house and she was very nice and very accommadating. Thank You for sharing your lovely home.

Left on 05/05/2008 for a stay in April 2008
The house was beautifully designed by a local architect. We loved the layout and the location. The only problem we encountered was that the TV's were not working. We like to watch movies at night as a family and we couldn't because the living room and kitchen TV's never did work. The electrical guy came over but was only able to fix the TV in the bedroom. My only other concern was that the smoke alarms in the house were disconnected. This is a dangerous situation. I did notify management, but they didn't get fixed while we were there. It was actually a perfect vacation and a perfect house with just a couple of small issues...........

my first thought as I walked into Moana Villa in Princeville was WOW!!!! Someone took the time and money to do this right. Everything was very well organized and spotless. I appreicated the large bathroom, shower, and heated towel rack. Every room had a walkout. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. I loved all the foliage surrounding the complex, as well as, the prestine golf course along the rear of the house. It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely home as Moana Villa.

We loved our accomodations at Moana Villa in the Princeville Resort during our vacation on Kauai. The property was beautiful and well maintained. It seemed like we were the only ones in the resort as it was so peaceful and serene. Highly recommend this place.
