This property is truly amazing in so many ways. It provides guests with a unique Kauai experience that can’t be beat. In May 2014, my wife and I had the opportunity to hold our wedding at the Ke Aloha Estate. What a special place to hold such a special event. I met Glenn and Kim years ago as a past client who rented the House of Dreams property a couple times. Glenn was such an attentive and personable person to rent from, the experience sparked a friendship between us. Subsequently, I have had the opportunity to spend a fair amount of time on Kauai, often crossing paths with Glenn and sometimes Kim. Over the years, I, and now my wife, have become very close friends with Glenn and Kim.
Glenn and Kim are awesome people! They are fun, kind, gracious, and extremely generous. This past May, Glenn and Kim were going to be spending some time at the Ke Aloha Estate, and they very generously offered to share their home with my family and I. We held a gorgeous wedding at Ke Aloha and my wife, two baby boys (2 years and 7 months), and I stayed with Glenn and Kim at Ke Aloha for about 10 days.
Ke Aloha is amazing. The home is comfortable and accommodating with every amenity that you could need, from a fully stocked kitchen, to a garage chocked full of play gear. Glenn and Kim put an unbelievable amount of time and effort into their rentals to make sure that their guests have everything they need to have the best possible experience. Not too many vacation rentals provide things like bikes and stand up paddle boards. The property’s extensive grounds are meticulously kept and are gorgeous; in addition, the property has a breathtaking Mountain View backdrop and backs up to an elaborate trail system that is accessible to guests. The trail system is beautiful, and you can walk to “the common ground” for breakfast or lunch, or go see the stone dam by the common ground. Both worth checking out! Often, in the mornings I would take my two year old for a walk around the property. We loved exploring the property, gathering fruits from the various fruit trees, looking for peacocks that often roam the grounds, and looking at all the beautiful, exotic flowers around the property. After our morning walk, we would often spend a little time on the swing set in the kid’s playground area, or take a dip in the pool. My two year old really loved the kid-friendly shallow end of the pool where he could easily touch bottom and have a blast. The property really caters to everyone. It is a kid’s paradise, and adults will love it for its beauty and tranquility. Ke Aloha is a place that you could spend a week at without leaving and have a great time. There is even a well-stocked workout room if you are feeling up to it. A perfect retreat for some R and R!!
As a wedding venue, Ke Aloha was perfect!! My wife and I were so excited to have the opportunity to plan our special day there. The beautiful, expansive grounds offer multiple sites for the ceremony and reception. Our wedding photographers had a field day incorporating the beauty of the property into our photo shoots and the documentation of the day. Ke Aloha will forever be a special place to my family and I!
Thank you so much Glenn and Kim for so graciously sharing your amazing home and property. Your generosity is beyond words! We loved spending time with you guys, and our stay at Ke Aloha was relaxing and refreshing; it was hard to leave!! I know how much time and effort you guys put into making Ke Aloha what it is. Thank you so much, and any of your guests are lucky to share in what you have created! Read more
One of the greatest benefits of renting homes on Kauai has been meeting and making friends with you and your beautiful new family. This was the first time Kim and I ever were at Ke Aloha for a wedding and it truly was a beautiful experience. We are so proud to have shared in your special day.

We stayed here for a week and also hosted our wedding on the property. As soon as I walked in the house I was taken away by the beauty of it all. The house, the grounds, everything was perfect. It was a perfect place to host our wedding and Glenn and Kimmy were more than accommodating to our needs during the entire process. I would highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful Kauai experience with large private grounds and access

In our group we had three adult couples. We loved Ke aloha because each couple had their own private rooms, but we could join each other in several common areas to spend time together. We took advantage of the kitchen, deck (with grill), rec room, and hot tub to hang out and imagine we just lived on Kauai.
The grounds are simply amazing. We felt tucked away in a private community and rarely saw other people. The property sits adjacent to a series of trails and whether walking or biking (bikes provided) we could walk out the back door and explore the natural beauty surrounding the home.
Kimmy and Glenn were extremely helpful in every aspect of planning the trip. Kim helped with concierge services and recommended some great excursions.
We loved the location and found it easy to access anything on the north shore. We planned day trips to the south shore, but found we preferred staying near the house.
What a contrast to the hectic, touristy places we normally expect when we stay in a hotel. This is an ideal location for someone seeking privacy and a luxury home away from home feel. I highly recommend Ke aloha!

Wow...what a vacation. Thank you to Glenn & Kimmy for all of the pre trip assistance. Massage in front of the pond, private chef and helicopter all loved and appreciated. The property is beyond spectacular. During our Fall stay we ate oranges, tangelos, banana, star fruit and avocado strait from the trees. Our 10 days were barely enough. The only drawback was difficulty leaving the back yard to visit the nearby beaches. But we did manage a few such as Ke'e, Hanalei Bay, Kalihiwai and Glenn's recommendation, Secret Beach. We were fortunate to have a calm enough day to swim. There is something very special about this plantation style home. At first glance, we thought it to be understated but after settling in we noticed all of the amenities and subtleties that make this home truly inviting. The home was meticulously clean upon arrival. We enjoyed having the bikes and paddle boards. we also played a ton of Ping Pong. I can go on and on but I will wrap it up by saying this trip was beyond anything we were expecting...the Best Ever...Ever!!!

We enjoyed a week here with our friends and had a fabulous time!! We even had our wedding on the site with 50 of our closest family and friends. It was perfect! The weather was great and the ambiance was superb. No one wanted to leave. Highly recommend this place for a vacation and/or wedding. Loved the pool, spa, and all the beach gear (sup boards were awesome!)

It is without reservation I recommend Ke aloha Estate. It has every amenity in a beautiful location which provides privacy yet proximity to North Shore activities. I have been blessed to visit Kauai many times since my first visit in 1979. I have rented at different locations around Kauai. Stated simply, Ke aloha Estate is outstanding. Matching the splendor of the accommodations is the commitment of Glenn & Kim, the owners, to assuring guests a wonderful visit to an island they love. Would I stay again at Ke aloha Estate? In a heartbeat!

This was our best group trip yet! I surprised my husband for his 30th birthday and invited a lot of our friends for an unforgettable surf trip! The house had everything we needed for every couple to be comfortable, even the kids! Everything was clean designed in a beautifully unique style and everyone had room and equipment to do their own thing if they wanted to. We would pick fresh fruit from the many trees out on the property and make vodka drinks with the juicer they have at the house.
We loved it. Every minute! The surf, the pool, the house, soccer games on the lawn, kids picking fruit and playing, meals on the lanai, and walking to the waterfall! It truly was spectacular! Read more
Many Mahalos to you, your family and friends. Thank you so much for the beautiful video you made during your stay.

We had a truly amazing time, and I would definitely attribute it to the home, location, and property. The house accommodated our larger group beautifully - both sleeping arrangements and meals, dining inside and outside. The house had everything we needed from kitchen, endless fruit trees, games, outdoor toys in the garage to the luxury of the yoga studio, gym, and pool. Honestly it was hard to leave this amazing compound, as the grounds are beautiful and expansive. I enjoyed a daily trail run out of the backyard into an amazing trail network - the destination always the stone dam that is a must experience. We feasted on the abundant fruit on the property from morning orange juice to all you can eat avocados. Every detail was perfect. I can't say enough about our trip, the home, the owners, and our experience. Our 4 year old daughter continues to ask, "When are we going back to Kaui?" I feel the same way, and we will definitely choose this location again. Thank you for the wonderful memories that we have taken away.

My wife and I went with our extended family (12 people) to Hawaii for a week including five nights at Ke aloha. The property is beautiful. Our kids really enjoyed picking and eating the plentiful local fruits. We spent many hours sitting on the back porch admiring the view and great breeze. The kids got in some swimming time. During our stay there were some problems with the spa heater, but otherwise the facilities were excellent. We all really loved the proximity of the house to the beach, Princeville and Hanalei. This was a great way to save money over putting everyone into a resort hotel. Before going, I was worried about the lack of air conditioning. This never ended up being a problem as the breeze kept the house and area cool. Overall, a great visit.
The gorgeous home you wished you never had to leave.

We spent 10 nights in January at the charming Ke aloha estate. This house lived up to, and exceeded, all our expectations. We were 5 couples and a bevy of small children - very very happy cousins - 5 and under. From when I first got in touch with Glenn he answered all my questions, no matter how inane, with generosity and extreme helpfulness. Glenn also helped us make arrangements for renting baby equipment and would answer all our emails practically immediately (when does he sleep?) both before we got there and throughout our stay.
The house is lovely, 5 bedrooms well-spaced out over 2 floors. There is one room with 2 twin beds so I'd recommend the house for up to 4 couples, with the kids in the twin beds room.
The upstairs kitchen was nicer than any of us had at home, with a gas range and electric juicer for the abundance of oranges growing on the estate. We loved picking fruit in the orchard on the property (a perfect distraction for all the kids) - delicious oranges, tangelos, coconuts, avocados - really the best avocados I had ever had. If you are there at the right time, there are banana trees too!
The pool was lovely. The garage was fully stocked with all the pool and beach gear you might need.
The house is a short (gorgeous) drive to many kid-friendly and surfer-friendly beaches. While you are not right in town or on the beach, and some people really need this, the location was perfect for us because it was completely safe (no surf or roads for the kids to run into - but watch the pool!) and peaceful.
This is a great place for families to stay together, because some folks can be on the kids while others head out for a bike ride on the trails which run right past the pool (to a waterfall) or have a massage in the amazing gym/yoga room cottage (Glenn helps to arrange this too of course) or take a quick trip into town for a restaurant date (if you are that lucky).
We had never been to Kauai before and we all loved it and can't wait to go back! Read more
Haha...I love the part where you said "When does he sleep". Thank you Lisa. It was fun working with you and I am so glad your first trip to Kauai was more than you expected. Perhaps Kauai will become a special place for you and your family as they grow up. It has been that for my kids, ever since the first time we brought them there as little ones.

The house was more than what we expected from the pictures on the website. It was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The property is massive with fruit trees everywhere and wild animals (friendly) roaming around the property. The home was completely stocked with everything we needed, and a local grocery store nearby provided everything else we couldn't find. The location of the house was easy to get to, although it took a while driving there since the road was only 25mph on the entire island. The drive to the house was scenic so being stuck in that type of traffic was not too bad. I would love to comeback to Kauai and I will definitely stay in this house when I do.

We were fortunate to stay at Ke aloha for a week in august. This was our second time traveling to Kauai, and also our second time renting a property from Glenn and Kim.
We had high expectations for Ke aloha and are happy they were not only met but exceeded. The entire estate was clean and was by far the best equipped vacation property we have ever rented.
We were happy to spend our mornings and afternoons at the many nearby beaches and the remainder of our days lounging in and around the property's pool. We held all of our dinners out on the lanai that comfortably accommodated our group of 12 people. The children travelling in our group had no problem occupying themselves with the playground, shallow end of the pool, fruit trees and expansive space to run around.
After arriving and viewing the grounds we made the decision to hold our wedding ceremony on the property. The mountain view and natural landscaping ensured our wedding photos showcased the beauty of Kauai.
We are extremely happy to have rented from Glenn and his wife again because they are so hospitable and accommodating! All of our questions were answered promptly and they went out of their way to ensure our experience was perfect.
Thank you so much Amanda and Joel. We too went to Kauai 18 years ago for our destination wedding and it has brought us great happiness. As a result, Kauai has been a big part of our families lives. I am sure it will be the same for you.

We had the pleasure of staying at Ke aloha Estate for a small family wedding in august 2012. The home easily accommodated the 8 adults and 3 children in our party. The kitchen was well stocked and most meals were enjoyed on the lanai.
Glenn is incredibly helpful, and responds quickly to requests. He has stocked the home with all the beach and sports equipment you could ever need. At our request, he was also able to provided a high chair, stroller and playpen for the baby in our group.
The grounds were beautiful, and they coupled with the view provided a majestic backdrop for the small wedding we held there. The children had no end of fun playing on the play set, lawn, and in the orchards. The pool and hot tub were a highlight and were put to use almost every waking moment we were at the house.
We would not hesitate to rent with Glenn again, we had a great experience!
