Description
Sea House is available for rent on a Saturday to Saturday basis.
The house is arranged over three floors. There is also a basement. The reception rooms comprise a dining room, a kitchen/breakfast room and a spacious first floor sitting room. There is a ground floor wc/cloakroom.
The stunning New Forest is a short drive away and is also accessible by bus and train. Much closer to the house are:
Lymington's Georgian high street - a 3 minute walk. There is a street market every Saturday. Waitrose, M&S and Tesco operate in the town. There are many places to eat in the town.
The harbour and town quay has cafés, pubs and restaurants and is a 2 minutes walk from the house.
Coastal and river walks begin 5 minutes away.
Potential guests with significant mobility issues should note that the house has three floors plus the basement and a few steps leading to the front and rear doors.

“Sea House is a perfect location for Lymington and surrounding area. Quirky old building but with modern facilities.”
Sea House is a perfect location for Lymington and surrounding area. Just a minutes walk from the busy high street with coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and small shops catering for all needs and a M&S food hall further up. It is just as close to the quay area with an Inn and coffee shop etc. and a little further away are the yacht harbour and further pubs and restaurants. The Georgian town house itself is a tall old house over three floors with the two bedrooms and the main bathroom on the top floor, All the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. It is best to try and remember to take what you need when going down to the well stocked kitchen on the ground floor as it a long way up and down again on the quirky sloping floors. The way from the house into the new kitchen extension is low in places and one needs to be carful to duck if one is over 6ft tall and the access to the easy to use and efficient washing machine and tumble drier in the basement is also very low. The most impressive thing about staying at Sea House is the way that the owner dealt with a problem with a blocked sink drain. Having informed him he arranged a plumber to come round without delay, and informed us when it would happen. As we were out at that time it was repaired without us being involved at all. Very good service. Overall Sea House is a delightful home to stay in, the facilities work well and it is perfectly situated for Lymington and the area.

“Not for the people with mobility problems”
Loved the town /harbour the house was brilliant for its location. The big downside was the very uneven floors ; tiny bathrooms , lounge should be nearer to kitchen ,not a flight of stairs away as carrying drinks up was difficult if your mobility isn’t good. There should be an handrail where the steps are in the garden. The weather was good but the garden was too overgrown to sit in it. I thought it was overpriced for the style of house at this time of year.

“SO FAR SO GOOD”
now on day 5 of a 28 day stay. The house is very comfortable and in a great location. We are still exploring Lymington and it is a lovely place with lots of nice places to see and eat at.
