Modern, exclusive, air-conditioned apartment for 5 people. English, Spanish and Polish speaking service provided. The apartment is located in the first beach-line in wonderful holiday village in Spain – Riviera del Sol (east of Marbella city). Big swimming-pool, beautiful garden full of greenery, renovated tennis court and private exit to the beach. New-built wooden boardwalk by the beach where quests can admire long walks next to the sea.

About the apartment:

The 54sqm apartment (oriented to the east) is located in one of the three buildings of Lubina del Sol Complex. On the first floor, with spectacular sea view from the balcony. It has two bedrooms (one of them renovated in 2018), renovated in 2017 bathroom, furnitured balcony and very well equipped kitchen connected with spacious living room with the exit to the balcony. There is air-conditioning in the apartment. During the high season the development is under constant security protection. Internet access (Wi-Fi) is also included in the price. There is also an iron and ironing board, sunbeds, parasol. Everything at the Guests' disposal.

…so our guests just need to get to the apartment, which may also not be a problem because the owner’s friend can organize transfers from the Malaga Airport for an additional fee (please contact the owner if it’s needed).

Bedrooms:

Two cosy, nicely arranged bedrooms: one was renovated in 2018 consists of big double bed, wardrobe and sea view through the window; the second with comfortable foldaway bed (creating two single beds). The bedding and towels included in the rental price.

Living room & balcony:

Our guests can admire beautiful Mediterranean Sea view from small, cozy furnitured balcony which can comfortably fit 2 people.

There is big and comfortable sofa with a coffee table, satellite TV and one large dining table with five chairs.

Bathroom:

Recently renovated bathroom with large shower, sink, mirror, toilet and washing machine. It’s modern and practical.

Kitchen:

The kitchen is connected with the living room and it’s fully equipped: fridge with freezer, cooker, oven, electric kettle, toaster and other appliances necessary to prepare any kind of meal (wide range of cutlery, plates, bowls, pots, heatproof dishes, grater, boards etc.).

There are all facilities within walking distance so car hire is not necessary. However, there is always a possibility of cheap car rental in the Fetajo company (about 400m away) or other. The resort is located just next to a bus stop (the bus goes to the most interesting towns and cities at the seaside like Marbella, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Puerto Banus, Malaga). Response from the owner Pedro and his wife are not a serious people!!! First of all, they booked my property without asking any questions. When they arrived, they starting complaining about everything. There is enough parking space in the development. That’s right, it could be pretty busy but it was high season (August) but there is always a possibility to park a car. My apartment is located on half-floor and my descriptions says about it. There are just 5 steps to get there. My apartment’s photos are 100% real, with no changes, Photoshop etc. It’s also described how many square meters it has. My apartment is always clean, tidy and well-equipped. I rent it for many years and this is the first time that any Guest complained about the cleanliness. The window cover does not work for more than two years but I do not advertise it. In fact, this side of a building is not sunny and instead of the window covers I installed curtains to give the possibility to darken the bedroom. Because of this window covers and the parking, Pedro didn’t want to stay at my apartment and he demanded to be paid back 100% from my friend who was just responsible to hand the keys, not taking into account that this is not her who hold the money for the booking. My friend was not able to leave the apartment and it all lasted more than 3 hours!!! Pedro didn’t care about the fact that my friend had other duties on this day. It’s also not true that I didn’t want to repair the window cover. After being told by Pedro, I decided to repair it the next day just to feel him comfortable in my apartment. Unfortunately, instead of waiting just a day, Pedro threw the window cover down and after that it was not possible to hide it back. In late evening, I got a call from TripAdvisor that the fridge is broken. I organized a service in just one hour and it turned out that it wasn’t broken. It was just a matter of turning the switch to make it function correctly. This is just pathetic… After so many stressful situations, I offered a refund and Pedro left the apartment. He left it in horrible conditions – the light was on; the fridge was open! Total mess in the bedroom. He also left his kids’ clothes in the apartment and my friend had to drive for 40km in late evening (it was after 10p.m.) to let them take it back. He even didn’t feel responsible to give some euros for a petrol for my friend… I paid her for that. After all these shocking situations, I arrived in Spain in 3 days to check the apartment. I was worried about it. I noticed that the TV remote control is missing. Pedro lost it after being in my apartment just one night… Pedro exposed me to a lot of losses. He also offended me on the e-mail messages. I hope that such Guests will never visit my property again.

Response from the owner Hello Algun, Thank you for your opinion although I must say I am pretty shocked with its content. First of all, I'd like to mention that the price was higher due to the Christmas and NY Eve period. All the apartments are usually much more expensive during this time. The apartment is designed for 5 people, I've already rented it for such a number of Guests many times and my apartment is already advertised for a couple of years. I have never been told that the apartment is too small – I do realise that some people would prefer even a larger space and this is why I put the square meters information in the apartment description. There are 8 pictures of the living room/kitchen online which clearly show that these spaces are not separated by a wall. Multiple Spanish holiday apartments are designed with “open-space” kitchen and I’m not entirely sure what was the issue you encountered in this case. Similarly, there are 5 pictures of the bedrooms which show exactly what type of beds are supplied (the two set ups of Bedroom 2 are included). This is also described in detail in the advertisement. The bathroom was recently renovated and the sizing of it is also clearly pictured. The balcony is not big, I admit. However, I do write about it in the description that it can comfortably fit 2 people. I would strongly advise reading the blurb a bit more carefully. It states that “The apartment is located in (…) Riviera del Sol (east of Marbella city)”. Mijas is a municipality in which consists of villages like Mijas Pueblo, La Cala de Mijas, Mijas Costa, Calahonda and the village where my apartment is - Riviera del Sol. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to stay in Mijas Pueblo (the main village) and be on the first beach-line since this village is located over 9km from the coast. You can also easily find a pin in a 'map' section in the offer and see where exactly the apartment is. I always do my best for my Guests and go above and beyond to make sure that they feel welcome and comfortable during their stay. If anyone has any questions before the booking – I’m more than happy to write a detailed, honest answer. I did help you many times via the phone messages, gave you really precise descriptions about getting to the apartment. You didn’t mention at any point that you feel uncomfortable in the apartment which is a shame because I would definitely try to help. I can see that you review on TripAdvisor quite often but over 40% of your reviews go for 3* or below. It might be the case of you being a bit unlucky with the trips you make, or maybe, with having slightly too high expectations about the places you tend to visit. However, it’s not me who should, or can, make this call. I will take aboard your feedback and will try to improve my offer and the apartment description. I wish you all the best in your future holiday endeavours.
