Description

With its south-east view, looking over the swimming pool and lush gardens, this apartment gets the morning sunshine -- ideal in winter, but protected from the afternoon sun in the heat of the summer. There are ceiling fans and air-conditioning units in all the rooms. There are beautiful, cool, ceramic floors throughout the apartment. Our guests comment on how well equipped and beautifully furnished the apartment is – often 'better than at home'. All linen and even beach towels are provided. All you need to bring with you is your clothes! Private sun loungers are also available - no need to struggle with other holiday-makers. We offer internet access, internet TV including British, German and Russian channels and a large library of DVDs and books to keep the children entertained while you are changing, or to entertain you if you don't want to go out or if you stay for a longer period. There is parking space on the complex if you wish to hire a car to travel to the mountains, Paphos Forest or the Akamas.

“Comfortable apartment”

We had a lovely visit and found the layout of apartment excellent. We were travelling with 90 year old father in law who enjoyed having his own bathroom and walk in shower. Pool was great, we would set the umbrella up for him each day and he could come and go as he wished. Lots of very good restaurants near by and supermarkets for home cooking. We all enjoyed visiting the mosaics at paphyos archaeological site and were lucky enough to find a wheelchair there to use. Father in law a good walker but distances can be tiring. With hindsight hire of wheelchair may have been useful but We did hire a car so We could visit more places with father. We visited some fab beaches, st george's bay suited as well as lots of entertainment from sailing club and fishermen, important for us was easy access in and out off sea. What struck me where/when visiting the lack of insects. We could sit on the apartment balcony well into the evening with no problem. Our only negative, which we had hoped would entertain our 90 year old at times, was the problem with using the tv which needed a code and was not useable. Otherwise a lovely 1st visit to Cyprus, beautiful island and very friendly helpful people.

We are also pleased that our on-site support system worked so well for you. The question of time to the shops is, of course, dependent on the walker. At 300 metres away they should take 3 minutes. However, it may feel like an eternity if you don't like 38c! What counts as 'new' is a matter of view. The complex was not completed this year - which means the gardens are mature. It is of the new generation of building and fitting.

We are disappointed that you did not find all aspects of the apartment quite up to your expectations, though yours are, indeed, the first complaints we have ever received! Concerning gaining entry, as we explained, you needed to follow only the latest version of the instructions, which we sent and you indicated you had read. No-one has had any problems previously but we will take a closer look at them to see why you had a problem. Regarding the 'musty' smell -- this, too, is a new one for us and we will definitely look into it. Perhaps it was from the cleaning that morning.

What a great holiday location! Well thought out details and well-appointed location. We had a great time and found the villa to be very spacious. Excellent location close to beach and town with very good information available for local activities and restaurants. Highly recommend!
