Privacy and Acreage surround this custom built Nantucket home, situated in Quidnet on Three Acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with the feel of horse and hunt country; adjacent to Squam Farm, a 700 acre nature preserve with forest and walking trails. The property also borders conservation land. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Windswept Cranberry Bogs with walking trails which take you around Stump Pond or Conservation land in The Middle Moors. Excellent area to take your dog on a long hike. A separate guest cottage with with eat-in kitchen, living room, bedroom, sleeping berth w/double bed, and two baths provides a second private dwelling with its own yard. Ideal for guests or family members who enjoy a little extra privacy. Quidnet beach is less than a mile's walk or a five minute bike ride. Wide plank, random width pine floors and cherry paneling in the dining room and living room add to the warmth of this cozy home. There is a master bedroom with queen size bed on the first floor along with a guest bedroom containing two extra long twins. A master bedroom with king size bed and sitting area is on the second floor along with a bedroom with two twin beds.

It is important to book ferry early. Mid to late July and all of August Saturday and Sunday spaces usually are sold out by end of February. Pet Friendly with permission. (Dogs only).

Getting around

A car is best as we are 6 miles from the Town of Nantucket. Taxi and Uber are available. A low cost shuttle is also available a short walk from the house. Check availability for period of your stay as it is seasonal and often changes.

Interaction with guest

Owner will not be on the premises during the term of the guests visit. Our on-island caretaker is on 24 hour call for maintenance emergencies. Owner can be reach via text or cell phone for answers to questions about the property or the area.
