Description
Large, comfortable semi-detached holiday rental villa, with a direct view onto the Ocean. The villa has 5 livingrooms, 5 airconditioned bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, a terrace on sub-terrain level, 3 balconies and a large roof terrace. Check the pictures. The terraces are equipped with furniture and BBQ’s, for long Moroccan evenings. Weather in Salé is always fit for fantastic holidays!
Villa Yasmine - the complete villa
Villa Yasmine contains five air-conditioned bedrooms. Up to 10 people and 4 babies (4 cots available) can sleep comfortable in the villa. Four of the bedrooms are equipped with wall-mounted closets for your clothing. Two of the closets (one on the ground floor, and one on the first floor) are equipped with a safe for safeguarding your personal belongings like jewelry, passports, bank- / or credit-cards etc. The safes are protected by a key-code which you can alter yourself. Four of the bedrooms are equipped with King-size double beds, one of the bedrooms is equipped with two single beds. This bedroom does not contain a personal Air-conditioning, but is cooled by an air-conditioning of an other bedroom. We have a move-able air conditioning unit available if necessary for this bedroom.
The villa also contains five living-rooms. Three of the living-rooms are in Moroccan style, two of them are in European style. Two of the living-rooms are equipped with a satellite television set, and a DVD home cinema set (Arabic, English, French and German frequencies are available).
The villa contains two kitchens which are situated in the subterranean level. These open plan kitchens also contains dining rooms. These kitchen / dining rooms contains dinner tables and Moroccan style benches. The kitchens are equipped with a fridge/freezer combination, a 4 ring stove, a microwave and coffee-machine, and off course all the necessary pots and pans (cooking utensils), a kettle, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The ground floor apartment kitchen is even equipped with an oven!
The villa is equipped with 3 bathrooms, one with shower and toilet on sub-terrain level, one with shower, bidet, toilet and sink on ground floor level, and one with bath, bidet, toilet and sink on first floor level. Of course all bathrooms have hot- and cold streaming water!
The villa has two terraces. These terraces are equipped with outdoor dining furniture and parasols. The terraces are also equipped with a BB-Q and crocks with plants. Perfect for dining on the warm Moroccan evenings! There is also access to several balconies.
The villa is equipped with a washing machine.
Guests are asked to observe the no-smoking rule inside the house: there are plenty of outside areas where smoking is permitted

Response from the owner At first I would like to thank the reviewer for the review made. Thanks for the fact you mentioned it is a nice house on a quiet location, indeed it is! Now just to address the "lack of heating system" notification. Indeed, this villa, (as many many others in Morocco due to the fact gas is only available in bottles and Mazoud is even more unavailable) lacks a heating system as we know it in Europe, the States etc. The house has no central heating. The bedrooms however are equipped with split-unit air-conditioning which can be used to heat up and cool down the bedrooms. In the villa we do have several gaz and electrical heaters available, which you have been using during your stay. Now to address the fact about the services, you have chosen to rent a "self-service holiday rental villa", the concept means that you should "service yourself". We do have a maid who is available also for cooking-services and so on. We see that you have enjoyed her services. staff and owners of Villa Yasmine are happy we had the pleasure of your visit, and we hope to equally have pleasured you as we do hope to equally pleasure any future guests

Response from the owner Thank you for the wonderful review, we are very happy you have enjoyed the stay. We always advise our clients to take a (rental) car, as distances in Morocco are vast. Although everything is "close-by" we are talking about distances of 3 to 5 kilometers and well, they can be walked for sure but it is just more comfortable to travel them by (air-conditioned) car. If necessary we can always arrange a rental car or mini-van.

To future customers Silje and her friends (16 in total) enjoyed a stay of approximately two weeks in Villa Yasmine. Silje hits the spot when she mentioned having a (rental) car is very useful, we always advise our clients that having a car is in our opinion necessary. Of course Rabat and Salé have a good public transportation system (with a tramway and public busses) and there are a lot of taxi-cabs available. Still, having a car makes you much more “free” to go whenever where-ever. If necessary we can offer assistance by helping you to get a good deal on a rental-car, or we can arrange a mini-bus for transports (as we did for Silje and her friends)
