This is an exceptional chapel conversion in the pretty village of Bishop Wilton, near Pocklington and 14 miles from York, offering holiday accommodation for six people.The Old Chapel is an exceptional chapel conversion in the pretty village of Bishop Wilton, near Pocklington, and 14 miles from York. The cottage has upside down accommodation and has two ground floor king-size double bedrooms, a ground floor adult bunks bedroom, a ground floor bathroom, a ground floor basin and WC and a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and sitting area. Outside, there is roadside parking and a small, rear walled courtyard with furniture. The Old Chapel is a wonderful holiday cottage for your holiday. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Amenities: Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Roadside parking outside property. Small enclosed walled courtyard with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3 mins walk. Note : The local shop is closed during March and early April for refurbishment.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The market town of Pocklington benefits from a variety of independent shops, pubs, tea rooms and a weekly market day. Pocklington is just a short drive from the wonderful, historic city of York which has many attractions to keep visitors entertained, including the York Minster, the Jorvik Viking Centre and the National Railway Museum.
