Comfortable, well equipped and beautifully furnished this is a perfect cottage for up to four guests with two double bedrooms both with king size beds. “A perfect cottage for a relaxing and comfortable holiday”
A November holiday is not everyone's choice but we had a thoroughly enjoyable week in Harewood cottage. We were made to feel very welcome,the cottage was immaculate with everything we needed,and more. The surrounding countryside was stunning with the Autumn colours at their best. The tour of the " Black and White " villages is a must if you stay here,there is a guide giving directions and all the history as you travel round. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Excellent

“We were continually delighted with the property during our stay!”
Everything about our stay was 'Gold Star'. The warmest of welcomes from the owner, Nicky, who settled us in and who was always on hand with suggestions for trips out, local businesses, and wonderful places to eat. Wharton Lodge is set in beautiful landscaped grounds, boasting some majestic specimen trees of great age. The adjoining walled garden and greenhouse offer somewhere quiet to sit and read with just the lambs in the neighbouring field popping their heads through the wrought iron garden gates to check up on you. We stayed in Harewood Cottage which was beautifully decorated throughout. With a comfortable lounge area, fully fitted out kitchen and bedrooms with comfy beds and luxury bedding we could not have asked for anything more. We were even provided with a welcome hamper of goodies and fresh flowers in every room. We have to rate this as probably the best rental property we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is superb. The surrounding area has many towns to explore and great places to enjoy the countryside. If you stay try and get to Puzzle Wood We will be visiting again - and hopefully soon!

“Excellent accommodation in a great location with superb host”
Harewood was a beautiful cottage surrounded by lovely countryside - excellent for walking. There was also lots to see and do in the local area - lovely towns and great castles and stately homes. The dog was made very welcome, as were we, and we all had a fantastic time! Nicky could not have been more welcoming. The cottage was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The glasshouse was lovely to sit in and read and the park was very handy for a quick dog walk morning and evening.
