Situated in the hills of Uttrakhand ,Shitlakhet is an offbeat tourist destination.1892 meter above sea level and surrounded by 1800 hectares of green forest Shitlakhet is an ideal tourist destination for those who wants to spend their holidays in peace and serenity away from noise,pollution,hustle and bustle of over crowded tourist destinations. Himadri guest house is especially designed to fulfill the requirements of a family or a couple or a close group of friends who just want to relax in the Lap of Nature. You will find wooden floor,big rooms [carpet area 200 square feet],attached bathrooms with all the modern facilities,adjoining kitchen for those who love self cooking[optional] and a big terrace[ area 600 square feet]facing Himalayas at Himadri..Shitlakhet is the place of choice for nature lovers.You can go to a walk in nearby forest or if you are fond of trekking ther are a number of trekking routes from 3 kilometre to 16 kilometre long amid forests ,temples ,springs,fruit orchards.There is a big fruit garden nearby where you can enjoy local fruits from April to August.
